Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 2328

It was as if a colossal golden dragon, long dormant beneath the earth, was slowly awakening. The dragon's spine, winding through the nine realms, lit up in pulses of brilliant gold.

Each radiant streak of light surged from the earth's pulse, bursting skyward like divine pillars, piercing directly into the heart of the massive vortex above.

In Jamborough, Luke stood still, watching the golden light shoot into the whirlpool—a strange sense stirred in his heart.

He was just about to take action when a silver-white dragon burst from the clouds on the horizon. The young dragon showed no fear of the vortex that threatened to swallow the sky.

It darted through the swirling clouds like lightning, heading straight for the place where the Dragon Vein had awakened.

Luke stilled, withdrawing the motion he had been gathering to transform into his dragon form. His gaze lingered on the distant horizon, and he murmured under his breath, "You're no longer mine to guard alone…"

The dragon clan finally had an heir.

With that thought, he abandoned the idea of flying after the silver dragon.

Instead, for the first time in his capacity as the head of the dragon clan, he instructed Cornelius, "Go to Kai's location immediately. Protect Sire at all costs."

Cornelius' first reaction to Luke's command was to refuse. After all, he took no orders from the dragon clan.

However, before he could verbally do so, he saw Luke's usually mild features darken with authority. The cold edge in his voice left no room for argument.

"Go!"

Cornelius didn't speak another word and no longer insisted on staying in his human form. In a flash, his figure blurred and transformed into a blue dragon, shooting straight up into the clouds.

With Cornelius and Kai now entrusted to assist Benjamin, Luke finally set his expression into solemn resolve.

He pressed the comm key connected to the Special Security Agency's Division 34 and, speaking as the chief, issued an order.

"Division 34, stand by. Cease all current operations and remain within your assigned regions awaiting further orders."

No matter what the vortex in the sky signified, both the Special Security Agency and the mystic arts community had to act fast now that Benjamin had made his move.

Meanwhile, Reuben, realizing what Benjamin had left to do, detached from Bianca's situation and swiftly made the necessary arrangements on behalf of the Demon Control Agency.

Lexie was dazed when hearing they couldn't leave. After all, ever since hearing Shannon could conjure a domain, she knew hers was the most invincible of all.

She had even discussed it with Mike in private, analyzing its logic and expressing her envy toward equipping such an advanced feat.

Therefore, when she learned they were stuck, she was genuinely shocked… though she soon put two and two together.

"Is this the Alternate Divine Power's doing?"

Shannon nodded. The only being who could seal her domain was none other than the Alternate Divine Power itself.

"I suppose when it suddenly attacked me, it was to force me back into my domain."

It forced her to use the Might of the Divine Power, and after seizing half of it, it trapped them within her own domain.

Considering her domain was connected to its, the Alternate Divine Power knew her domain better than anyone else. It was like a house that could come and go freely as it pleased.

In Shannon's attempt to drive it out, she slammed the door shut herself, only to realize too late that it had turned the lock from the outside, trapping them in.
