“We can,” Liam said. “If I say yes, then it’s yes.”
Freya sneered. “But I won’t.”

which had been warm and lingering a moment before, gradually lost their tenderness and turned
“Freya, don’t push me,” Liam said coldly.
Freya asked, “Where is Lily?”
“In the next guest room,” Liam replied.
Freya lifted her foot to go. Liam sprang up and shut the master bedroom door before she could step out.
Freya looked at him. “What else do you want?”
Liam said, “Freya, I’ll ask you one last time. Will you come back with me or not?”
Freya answered, “You already know the answer. Why ask me again?”
Liam snorted. “Fine. If that’s the case.”
This time, Liam opened the door himself. “If you want to see your friend so badly, I won’t stop you.”
‘Will he suddenly be so kind?’ Freya doubted it, but her worry for Lily outweighed everything.
She barreled out the door and pushed open the guest room.
Freya sucked in a cold breath. Zara sat in the corner with tears streaming down her face, her hands and feet bound. “Freya, please,” she begged.
Then Freya looked at the bed. Lily lay there unconscious, her outer clothes removed so that only her underwear remained.
Liam’s voice floated from a distance, full of warning. “If you don’t come back with me, Lily’s photos will be the number one trending topic online in five minutes.”
Hearing that, Freya felt as if the blood in her veins were running backward.
A few years ago, in that dark hotel room, Lily had been like this too: powerless and passed out on the bed, her clothes torn to rags and strewn about.
Freya shivered and ripped a blanket from the closet, wrapping Lily tightly so that no skin was exposed.
Holding her close, Freya cried, “It’s okay, Lily. I’m here. It’s okay.”
Freya looked almost frantic, choking back sobs and trying with all her might to cover Lily with the blanket.

Meanwhile, Zara was already a blur of tears. “Freya, Freya…” she kept sobbing.
Freya trembled all over and asked, “Who did this to her?”

Zara replied, “I don’t know. The moment they came in they knocked Lily out. After I finished that call they locked me out on the balcony. When they brought me back, Lily was already like this.”
“Damn it! Go to hell!” Freya cursed, furious.
When Freya had run from the direction of the master bedroom, dozens of black-clad bodyguards were packed into the living room.
‘They’re all men. So Lily’s clothes…’ Freya thought.
“Freya, done looking? If you’re done, come out and let’s talk,” Liam said from outside the door.
Perhaps to avoid suspicion, Liam stood with his back to the master bedroom and spoke with a cool, indifferent tone.
Freya checked Lily again to make sure she was completely covered, then knelt and untied Zara, warning her, “Take care of Lily.”
With that, Freya stepped out and closed the guest room door behind her.
Hearing her footsteps, Liam turned and asked, “Now, will you go back with me?”
Freya had an eerie calm about her. She was silent for a long moment before saying, “I can go back with you, but I have one condition.”
“Rest assured,” Liam replied, “as long as you come home with me, Lily’s photos will never be exposed.”
“Whoever took Lily’s clothes off, I want his hand,” Freya said.
Her gaze sliced across the dozens of bodyguards like a keen blade. “Liam, didn’t you say you’d give me anything I asked for? If you agree with this condition, I will go with you.”
Saying this, Freya looked up and met Liam’s eyes, fury burning in them.
Liam asked, “What if the person who did it was me?”
“Then I will cut your hand off myself,” Freya said. “I mean it.”
