It was time for the dinner party. I took my clutch and headed to the party. I had on a long sleeveless black gown that had stones wrapped around the waist line like a belt and a glitters showering down the skirt. I put on a wing eyeliner and a red matte lipstick and for my hair, I wrapped it up neatly into a bun and left some strands out with silver pumps that were not too high or low and my stony silver clutch. Too be honest, I didn't I looked bad. I left for the party in a taxi because unfortunately, I didn't have a car.

I reached the party and spotted Taylor but she was with Blake. I was contemplating on going to meet them or not but I went.

"Taylor" I said and smiled at her. She turned to look at me and smiled. Blake also turned but as soon as he saw me, the smile left his face.

"You" he said scowling at me

"What are you doing here" he said venomously. Oh God, help me.

"Hello Blake. Its nice to see y-"

"What. Are. You. Doing. Here!" He said again. Venom dripping out from every word. I actually started getting scared.

"Blake, please don't be angry at me. I don't want you to be ang-"

"Leave" he said and I was startled. I knew they were angry at me but I didn't know they were this angry.

"Blake. Blake, calm down. There are a lot of guest here. You don't want to make a scene" Taylor said.

"I don't care but you better leave this place right now" he said pointing at me and I knew it was actually time to go.

"Taylor. I'll see you later" I told her.

"Mia, come on, don't leave" she pleaded.

"Its okay Taylor. I'm not angry at them. I'll just leave" I told her and smiled sadly at her. I started walking back but I spotted Michelle but then Eric saw me and mouthed to me 'leave' and glared at me till I walked out of the door. I bumped into someone because my head was down.

"Are you okay mam?" He said. Scott said. Oh my God. I can't allow him to see me.

"Uhm, am okay. Thank you" I said and wanted to hurry but then he called back.

"Mam are you sure because you hit yourself pretty bad" he said and then I knew he still cared a little.

"Its okay Sir but I would like to go now" I told him backing him and my head down.

"But the party just started" he said.

"Sir, I said am fine" I snapped.

"Sorry I'm just tired" I apologized.

"Its okay but can I at least know your name?" He asked.

"No sir" I told him but he didn't reply again and then thinking he had left me alone, I started walking to the gates but I was pulled back and he saw me and gasped. He regained himself back.

"You're here" he said

"You. What are you doing here" he said. I frowned. Wow, what a good greeting.

"Good evening to you to" I replied sarcastically. He rolled his eyes.

"You're living here?" He said. Shit, I forgot I wrote this Address as Emily Patson's address.

"Y- Yeah, wh-why do y-you as-ask?" I stuttered.

"Well because this was the address my employee and friend gave me." He said. He called me his friend. I smiled. He actually started considering me his friend. No you but Emily.

"Miss Emilia, why are you smiling?" He asked.

"Oh sor-" he cut me off.

"Look, I don't have the time for your tantrums so please just tell me what you are doing here because I know that this is where miss Emily stays" he said, his face emotionless. Ouch.

"Yeah, this is where she stays. She's my friend. She told me I could stay with her for now as still looking for a job" I lied smoothly and also hoping he won't see through the lie.

"why are you looking for a job?. Where's Alisha?" He said.

"She passed away after we found my baby sister " I replied. I can't believe am actually speaking to him without fainting.

"Ok. Well when she's back, tell her I came" he said turning his back to leave. Ouch, he couldn't even say sorry.

"Oh and miss Emilia, sorry for your loss and you didn't have to leave." he added and left. God, I cried. I cried myself to sleep.
