When Tessa's last luggage was carried out, Zachary stepped out of the elevator.
His face was deathly pale, and dark circles shadowed his tired eyes. He looked extremely haggard and had become thinner.
The moment he saw the movers hauling Tessa's things away, he stopped in his tracks.
His gaze was filled with sadness as he asked, "You're moving out?"
Tessa didn't say a word. She just gave a small nod and walked toward the elevator.
As she brushed past him, Zachary suddenly grabbed her wrist.
His voice was full of pleading, and his eyes were clouded with emotions. "Tessa, don't go. I promise I won't bother you anymore. Can you please not leave? I just want to be near you and stay by your side."
Tessa glanced at his hand gripping her wrist and said coldly, "Let go."
Zachary refused.
She tried to pull away, and he instinctively tightened his grip.
Tessa frowned. "Zachary, you're hurting me!"
At that, he immediately let go. Guilt flashed in his eyes. "I'm sorry, Tessa. I didn't mean to. I just… I don't want you to leave."
Her wrist was already red from his grip. She rubbed it and said calmly, "I've made myself clear—we can't go back or start over, so just stop all this. It won't change anything."
Before Tessa could get far, she remembered something.
She turned to look at Zachary and said seriously, "I heard you tried to kill yourself a few days ago. If you're that extreme, I can only be glad that I left you. I won't take it as a sign of love.
"Don't ever do it again. I don't want to be dragged into a tragedy just because of an old relationship."
With that, she stepped into the elevator with the movers.
Instead of furniture or appliances, she only brought a few personal belongings from her apartment.
Once everything was settled, she took a shower before sleeping on the soft and cozy bed.
…
After a rough journey at sea, Jacqueline finally arrived in Orkford.
She had been stuck on that damn ship for days. With barely any food or rest, she had lost a lot of weight.
She also hadn't bathed for days. When people came to drag her off the ship, her stench made them nauseous.
"Jesus, she fucking reeks!"
"Ugh!"

The readers' comments on the novel: His Unveiled Passion
I know this isn’t Stephen’s fault but I still hated how he was so careless around this bitch even after Tessa already told him it’s obvious that this bitch likes him and she looked at Tessa with hostility. If Tessa breaks up with him again, I’ll even support her. Ugh. Good luck on winning Tessa back again, Stephen. Tss. I so hate these updates....
Nooooo! Not again! We don't need a twist like this. Is it too hard for the writer to conclude with..."and they live happily ever after"?...
Finally getting Stephen and Tess back together then to tear them apart with foolishness. This is craziness...
Yuhohoooo!!! Finally!!!...
Aaand~ Tessa and Stephen are finally back together! Yaaaaay!...
Why make an uninteresting, irrelevant twist when readers are waiting for Tess and Stephen to be together?...
Gosh just let Tessa and Stephen get back together already! Ugh...
Oh my god, when is this book finishing... they're not even back together yet and more nonsense side plots.....
Whoa! Hahahahahaha! Go, Sophia! Burn, stupid Rowena! Lol...
Sooo~ Chapters 310-318 were just a repeat of Jacqueline’s punishment, official expulsion from the Jacobson family, and arrest. With few changes since Tessa and Stephen are not together this time. So Tessa didn’t witness how Jacqueline was tortured at Stephen’s base, though at least Tessa was still called over and witnessed how Stephen officially expelled Jacqueline from the Jacobson family and how Stephen’s subordinate made Jacqueline grovel in front of Tessa. Lol. I hope Jacqueline’s really out of the story now....
