Zachary's expression darkened. "Tessa, you know that I love you."
"Didn't you use to love sneaking around with Wendy behind my back? Doesn't your mom love Wendy and find her to be a great daughter-in-law? What's wrong? Do you not want Wendy anymore now that she's pregnant with your child?"
Zachary stumbled as nervousness flashed across his eyes. "You know about that? Tessa, don't be mad. I can explain. I drank too much that night, and I mistook her for you. That's why I—"
"Shut up! Zachary, don't misunderstand what's happening here. I'm only mentioning this to you because I want to rub salt into your wounds.
"Back then, you two always treated me like dirt, but the tables have now turned. All of you will get what you deserve, and I'm honestly thrilled about that," Tessa jeered with a look of disdain.
"Alright, Zachary. You should leave. I have some things I need to discuss with Ms. Yates now," Matthew said, chasing Zachary away.
"Dad—"
"Leave!"
…
After finishing her discussion with Matthew, Tessa went down and realized that Zachary was still there.
Zachary walked up to her and eagerly said, "Tessa, I have something I'd like to say to you."
Tessa replied coldly, "I have nothing to say to you."
"Tessa, I know I'm not worthy of saying that I love you, but you—"
"Fuck off! If you keep pestering me, don't blame me for being cruel," Tessa roared.
"Tessa, listen to me."
Tessa shot Wynn a look, and the latter immediately pushed Zachary back. She had shoved him so hard that he stumbled back and nearly fell.
He still wanted to say something, but when he saw the murderous glint in Wynn's eyes, he immediately stopped in his tracks.
Once Tessa got into the car, Wynn asked, "Ms. Yates, where shall we go now?"
"Drive back to the law firm."
"Alright."
Once Yanis stormed over, she immediately raised her hand, ready to deliver a harsh slap.
However, Tessa quickly grabbed Yanis' wrist with her left hand, blocking the slap, while raising her right hand and slapping Yanis, hard.
The slap echoed loudly.
Yanis' face immediately turned red before she roared, "How dare you slap me?"
However, Tessa just raised her left hand and slapped Yanis' other cheek.
"You—" Before Yanis could even finish her sentence, Tessa had slapped her another two more times, one on each side.
Yanis was so shocked that she forgot to fight back.
"Mrs. Gomez, I'd advise you to stop overestimating yourself," Tessa said coldly.
Both sides of Yanis' cheeks were now red and swollen.
Even Matthew stood there, dumbfounded by the turn of events.

The readers' comments on the novel: His Unveiled Passion
I know this isn’t Stephen’s fault but I still hated how he was so careless around this bitch even after Tessa already told him it’s obvious that this bitch likes him and she looked at Tessa with hostility. If Tessa breaks up with him again, I’ll even support her. Ugh. Good luck on winning Tessa back again, Stephen. Tss. I so hate these updates....
Nooooo! Not again! We don't need a twist like this. Is it too hard for the writer to conclude with..."and they live happily ever after"?...
Finally getting Stephen and Tess back together then to tear them apart with foolishness. This is craziness...
Yuhohoooo!!! Finally!!!...
Aaand~ Tessa and Stephen are finally back together! Yaaaaay!...
Why make an uninteresting, irrelevant twist when readers are waiting for Tess and Stephen to be together?...
Gosh just let Tessa and Stephen get back together already! Ugh...
Oh my god, when is this book finishing... they're not even back together yet and more nonsense side plots.....
Whoa! Hahahahahaha! Go, Sophia! Burn, stupid Rowena! Lol...
Sooo~ Chapters 310-318 were just a repeat of Jacqueline’s punishment, official expulsion from the Jacobson family, and arrest. With few changes since Tessa and Stephen are not together this time. So Tessa didn’t witness how Jacqueline was tortured at Stephen’s base, though at least Tessa was still called over and witnessed how Stephen officially expelled Jacqueline from the Jacobson family and how Stephen’s subordinate made Jacqueline grovel in front of Tessa. Lol. I hope Jacqueline’s really out of the story now....
