Chasing His Wolfless Luna Back (Rayna Quinn) novel Chapter 131

She’s My Choice (Part 2)

Sebastian’s POV

“Alpha, we’ve captured most of Graves’s men, but Graves himself escaped,” he delivered

the bad news.

My blood immediately began to boil. The fact that he kept escaping made me fucking furious. As long as he was out there, the people I cared about wouldn’t be safe.

“Mobilize all warriors immediately. Find him!” I roared.

Rayne nodded, quickly leaving to execute the order. I continued carrying Thea to the car, carefully placing her in the passenger seat and fastening her seatbelt.

“Where are we going?” she asked tiredly, her eyelids already beginning to droop.

“The hospital. You need a check–up to ensure you and the baby are both okay.”

She nodded slightly, leaning against the seat and promptly falling asleep. Throughout the drive, I kept glancing at her, making sure she wasn’t in any discomfort. When we reached

the hospital, I gently wake her, but seeing how exhausted she was, I chose to carry her in

directly.

The nurses pushed a wheelchair over as soon as they saw us.

“Don’t worry, sir, we’ll take care of her and notify you immediately if there’s any news,”

they assured me when I refused to let go.

With a sigh, I slowly placed her in the wheelchair.

“Please contact Seraphina and Maximus,” she said before being wheeled away. “They should know what happened.”

The moment she left my sight, I immediately did as she asked. I didn’t say much, just

requested they come to the hospital.

Then I called my parents to check on Leo. After Graves’s threatening call, my first action had been to arrange for Leo to be taken to a safe location. After confirming everything

was in order, I walked to the waiting room where Damien, Roman, and Margaret were

already waiting.

“Any news?” I asked as I sat down.

“Not yet,” Roman answered.

“How’s Thea? Where is she?” Margaret asked anxiously.

“They took her for an examination, just to make sure everything’s okay,” I told them.

The wait afterward became long and silent. My thoughts began to churn, thinking about everything that had happened since Derek’s death, recalling the feeling of being overwhelmed with emotion when I saw Aurora again after seven years.

At that time, everything felt so unreal. In that moment, it was as if I had returned to a time when she meant the world to me. I had been so caught up in memories that I hadn’t

noticed Thea leaving.

Then there was the scene at the funeral when the rogues attacked. She stood there alone, and I lunged toward Aurora. That moment changed everything. Thea became different, as if the Thea we knew had died and a new one was born. I would never forget how cold she

became.

I couldn’t blame her. If our roles were reversed, I might have done something more extreme. That day was a wake–up call for her–she finally saw that I wasn’t worthy of her love, her loyalty.

I stood up and began pacing the hallway, unable to sit still.

Now she wanted nothing to do with me. Everything I had done in the past, actions I thought were justified, had become obstacles, making any move I made seem suspicious in her eyes. It undermined every effort I made, ensuring she would never trust me.

I didn’t know when my feelings had changed. But I could no longer deny it. I fucking wanted her. Yet every action from my past made me believe she would never look back. No one needed to tell me that the shining love I once saw in her eyes was gone. Now, she
