Chapter 341
Rhea leaned a little closer to George and rested her cheek on his shoulder before flashing a sweet
smile.
George pressed the shutter, then studied the photo carefully.
“What’s wrong? Doesn’t it look good?” she asked.
George responded not with words, but with action.
Rhea tilted her head and saw that he had set the photo as his lockscreen. Not only that, but he had also posted it on Instagram without a caption.
Rhea unlocked her phone and tapped into his Instagram profile. There was nothing in there, except for that single post pinned at the top.
“Aren’t you worried that people will make fun of you?” she asked.
George let out a soft chuckle. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this day.”
He wanted to tell the world that he and the woman he had secretly loved were finally together. A simple Instagram post was nothing compared to that.
In that case, Rhea decided to join him.
She launched her Instagram account and uploaded the photo. After a moment’s thought, she added a caption. “Moonlight by my side.”
It was a little cheesy, but she went for it anyway.
George noticed it, and a spark appeared in his eyes. “Moonlight?”
“Yeah. It’s gentle and bright, hardly ever missing from the night sky,” she said.
George couldn’t help but reach out and brush the top of her head. “I won’t ever miss being in your life either.”
Rhea squealed. “You’re messing up my hair.”
He laughed. “It’s fine. You look pretty,”
In Liora’s private living room at the Marsh residence, Valerie, Evelyn, Carolyn, and Kate had gathered to discuss the morning’s news article.
“Liora, does your aunt really dislike Rhea?” Valerie asked.

Cynthia had watched them grow up together. Her feelings couldn’t be that extreme, could they?
“I’m not sure,” Liora replied.
Puzzled, Valerie asked, “The main question is, who leaked this?”
Kate sipped her tea in silence.
Suddenly, Evelyn exclaimed, “Oh my gosh! You guys, check Instagram!”
“What’s wrong?”
“There’s a surprise!” Evelyn said.
They all refreshed their feeds at the same time and saw the photo George and Rhea had just posted.
“They look perfect together!”
Carolyn cupped her face, beaming. “Why didn’t I notice this before? They’re such a match made in heaven! A perfect pair!”
Evelyn rolled her eyes. “Do you even know any expressions besides those old–fashioned ones?”
Carolyn huffed. “So what if they’re old–fashioned? You still get what I mean. Anyway, I should start thinking about a wedding gift for them now.”
Kate set her teacup down, taking her eyes off the phone. “Isn’t that a bit too soon?”
The outline of that photo seemed etched before her eyes, lingering in her vision and refusing to fade.
“If my gift is elaborate, it’ll take time to make. It’s not too soon,” Carolyn said.
Kate said softly, “We should keep it low–key. If things don’t go well between them, people will start gossiping about Rhea again.”
Liora and Valerie couldn’t help but glance at Kate. They knew about Kate’s feelings for George, so hearing that now felt off.
“Why don’t you two come help me with lunch?” Liora said to Evelyn and Carolyn.
After they left, Valerie turned to Kate and said bluntly, “Kate, listen. We’ve grown up together, but some things are better left unsaid.”
