Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 3913

Chapter 3913: Choices! IV

Royal Origin Calypso and Royal Law Tristesse floated side by side, their visages radiant with ancient power, exuding a splendor that bent the air around them.

Each emanated a sovereign presence- Calypso cloaked in regality, Tristesse in a calculated composure that never wavered.

Around them, existence itself groaned.

The Transcendent Inevitability raged.

Its tentacles lashed across reality, multicolored strands of hunger and ruin snapping and writhing.

Living Paradoxes- once draped in wings of contradiction and shimmering halos- tried to flee. But under the suffocating silence of Tristesse’s Law, their Authorities were nullified.

Powerless, many of them were caught!

HUUM!

The Inevitability devoured without pause.

Tentacles seized them mid-flight. Their radiant forms turned gray, dulling into husks as they were reeled back toward the central writhing mass. They had summoned it. And now, they were its feast!

Tristesse stood motionless, gaze locked onto the calamity.

"Calypso," she said, her voice smooth as it could be, "remind me again- how important are these folds?"

Calypso, every part of her frame exuding dignity, turned slowly. "What do you think?"

Her tone was cool, though her body radiated Living Origin Authority in steady, growing waves that pushed away the distant Inevitability.

"These are the folds that birthed a paradox that produces no Inevitabilities. Altheon found a Fold Dweller here in possession of something tied to the Living Laws and sent him to you. And..."

Her gaze deepened. "He also found something that...I am personally invested in. That’s three points. All tied to these Lesser Folds."

Tristesse allowed a small breath to leave her. Her eyes sharpened with clarity. "That’s enough then," she said, each word clipped with precision. "If I’m here, I might as well clean house. You didn’t bring me to dance around the issue...you brought me to isolate these folds, so I will!"

WAA!

Calypso inclined her head but said nothing. She turned, her jeweled robes gleaming like woven starlight. With unhurried grace, she surged toward the Inevitability- and Honored Gold.

"You there," she called, voice laced with honeyed malice, "weavings of contradiction and uncertainty. Ready to have your day utterly fucked?" Her eyes sparkled. "Do you think your Royal Living Paradoxes will execute you after today’s little failure? Or will the Inevitability devour you first?"

HUUM!

Without waiting, she plunged forward, an ocean of Origin descending!

Tristesse, behind her, exhaled and seated herself midair, crossing her legs with a deliberateness that echoed finality.

Altheon, standing nearby with Shaynara, Vorellion, and the silent Bob, blinked and asked softly, "Esteemed Miss... just what exactly are you doing?"

Tristesse smiled- calm, precise, and knowing. "Relocating these Folds," she said, her tone utterly rational. "From under the influence of Paradoxes. Into territory that obeys structure, and Law."

Then she lifted her chin.

"O Nullvein Gravewake Folds..."

Her voice deepened, becoming a resonant note that stretched across eternity.

"You were born in chaos, whispered into being by Paradox, raised beneath the shadow of ruin. But I see you. I see the strands that quiver beneath your skin. The laws you yearned for in silence. Now hear me. Obey me. Step forward. Out of contradiction, and into clarity! Come beneath the light of established Law! And be still. The Law...demands it!"

...!

HUUM!

The Folds trembled.

From her body, silver light spilled out- an endless river of Law!

It raced across the distorted folds that were endless, chasing the broken latticework of paradox like ink over parchment. Everything shivered. Shifted!

A Law was laid down.

A Law was adopted.

A Law was followed!

Tristesse grimaced slightly, her brow twitching as strain lined her expression. But she did not falter.

She exhaled. "It’s been... a while," she murmured, wiping an invisible crease from her sleeve.

Royal Origin Calypso appeared amidst folds that were unraveling like coiled nightmares.

But there was...a semblance of Law now. A silver light seeped through them- cool, deliberate, and orderly!

What once was chaos became silence.

Around her, the silver brilliance blanketed everything. The Nullvein Gravewake Folds had been moved.

Tristesse stood at the center, composed, radiant. Altheon, Vorellion, Bob, and Shaynara nearby.

Calypso’s voice was like a heavgly blade. "You should have sent these folds into the care of the Living Origins. Not into the domains of the Living Laws."

Tristesse met her gaze with even calm and smiled.

"We’re allies, aren’t we?" she asked, "What matters is not whose territory they fall under. What matters is that Paradoxes will have a harder time reaching them now. And we’ll have time to understand... why these folds drew such attention."

Calypso said nothing. But her eyes glinted. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Then she turned.

Her gaze fell upon Altheon. "You. Come."

Altheon moved without hesitation, her Authority wrapping around them both.

As they moved away, her voice dropped. "Tell me. Has the Young Miss arrived yet in the Transcendent Origin Battlefront Folds?"

Altheon hesitated. Then nodded. "Soon," he said.

He paused again. "Though she is... not alone. She’s accompanied by a Fold Dweller."

Calypso stopped.

Altheon’s eyes met hers.

"Someone known as...Noah Osmont."
