What was more tyrannical than lecturing and talking down on someone so much more powerful?!
"Let me educate you about hesitation," he continued, "Hesitation is the luxury of those who believe time is infinite, who assume that opportunities will always present themselves again if the first offer is declined. But existence operates according to different weavings entirely."
WAA!
His gaze swept across the assembled crowd, ensuring that his words reached every being within hearing range.
"Those who delay, who spend precious moments wondering if they should act rather than acting decisively, invariably find themselves losing the most critical opportunities of their existence. Existence does not wait for the hesitant. It rewards the bold, elevates the decisive, and abandons the cautious to watch from the sidelines as others claim the prizes they were too afraid to reach for!"
HUUM!
The weight of his words seemed to press down upon everyone present like a physical force!
Even though he was a mere Fold Dweller.
But he seemed to hold such an astonishing imposing demeanor!
"So choose now, Little Elemental. Will you be the one who acted when action was required, or will you be the one who hesitated until the moment passed and left you with nothing but regrets?"
The confrontation had transformed from a simple trade negotiation into something approaching a lesson!
At such a critical juncture, the Living Elemental gritted his teeth and forced the words out with conflicting emotions
"Deal! I will take the bowl!"
The declaration echoed across the golden pathway, marking the moment when desire finally overcame caution and need triumphed over pride!
Noah smiled and nodded with the satisfaction of someone whose careful planning had achieved exactly the desired result.
With a casual wave of his hand, he caused the Wok with its shocking scent that had drawn Living Existences from across the immediate area, to disappear back into his weavings, leaving only the simple bowl floating in the space between them.
"Pack it up for me," Noah said with the tone of someone concluding a routine transaction.
Pyrion Aureus nodded without taking his eyes off the bowl, his attention so completely focused on his prize that he seemed unaware of anything else in his immediate environment.
With a snap of his fingers, he caused the entire garden to collapse inward upon itself, the Auric Vitae Grass and all the carefully cultivated beauty of his display being drawn into a treasure that looked like an Elemental Wheel of Existence that he produced!
The compressed treasure had the gardeb in it and pulsed with its own inner light as he presented it to Noah, who allowed the bowl to float across the intervening space toward its new owner with unhurried grace.
The moment the trade was completed, Pyrion’s expression transformed into one of pure joy.
He instantly wrapped the bowl in high concentrations of Living Elemental Authority, creating layers of defense that would have been sufficient to protect one’s progeny!
His eyes darted around the immediate area as if he were worried that other Living Existences might attempt to take his prize by force.
"Do you need anything else?" he asked with the eager tone of someone hoping to extend a profitable relationship. "I have many things found across the Doorways of the Loom on the higher floors..."
