The instructions were utterly insane, yet she continued with the patience of a teacher explaining something obvious!

"Simply choose an Everything for you to give to this Inevitability, since it wants Everything. And if you know nothing about Everything..." She paused, ensuring he was listening despite the approaching doom. "I will advise you that a lifeform has many Everythings. If you willingly choose a small part of your Everything to give, that will satisfy an Inevitability."

The creature drew closer, its form becoming more terrible and more beautiful with proximity.

"If I may advise you," she added with something that might have been kindness, "give it your Fear. The entirety of your Fear. Everything of your Fear."

Noah’s weavings buzzed with warnings.
