Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 4058

Chapter 4058: Everything has its uses! I

The infant giggled…a sound that was objectively adorable yet carried undertones that made the nine warriors tense!

Its mother smiled with the exhausted joy of successful childbirth, seemingly unconcerned that her baby possessed power that could shatter continents.

The leader of the nine roared with the urgency of someone who had seen what happened when they weren’t fast enough: “Get ready!”

BOOM!

The baby looked around with eyes that contained swirling nebulae, took its first step and…it was not a crawl.

It was a step through space itself!

Cracks spread across the reinforced floor as the infant shot toward a wall with the speed of a cosmic projectile.

One of the Cosmic Realm entities materialized instantly, a golden shield of pure Helios Authority manifesting to contain the baby’s trajectory. The infant bounced off, completely uninjured, laughing with the pure joy of play.

What followed was controlled chaos. The baby flew around the room, trying to headbutt everyone and everything with the enthusiasm of a puppy that happened to possess reality-warping power.

The nine entities worked with practiced coordination, containing each movement, reinforcing walls before impact, creating barriers of solidified space to prevent the infant from accidentally demolishing the house and then citadel.

This… wasn’t unusual.

This was life in the Infiniverse.

Babies could be born at the Universal Realm or Cosmic Filament Realm, arriving in existence with power that took others years to achieve.

Specific squads of adventurers were formed not to fight dragons or demons. They were formed to contain newly born entities until they developed enough cognizance to understand concepts like “please don’t accidentally shatter the neighbor’s house.”

It was a system that worked, mostly. The casualty rate for houses and cities was astronomical, but actual injuries were surprisingly rare.

As such a wonder was occuring.

Without warning, white-gold light bathed everything.

The transformation of the Infiniverse into the Infinite Early Osmontian Shore sent ripples through every Frequency, every world, every impossible corner of its vast expanse.

In that one house, as the baby continued its rampage of joy, one of the Cosmic Realm entities cursed with the frustration of someone whose difficult day had just gotten worse.

“What is it now?! What is it?!”

The answer came in sensation.

The atmospheric golden mana throughout the citadel, already so dense it was nearly solid…suddenly doubled. The baby, mid-flight toward another wall, suddenly blazed brighter as its single Cosmos began to grow larger- but so did the Cosmos of the Hunters!

The mother was in wonder.

The doctor, maintaining professional composure despite the chaos, checked his instruments that turned out to be utterly useless!

The baby, now possessing a larger cosmos on its chest and power that could reshape star systems, giggled again and tried to eat one of the containment shields.

It was a glorious scene.

The Infiniverse held many wonders!

Even the simple act like containing a baby required power that could reshape worlds. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

He continued forward with steady steps that suggested he had expected this.

Duke Diviticus approached from behind, her form radiating power that seemed barely contained by existence itself.

She had leaped from Honored Living Existence to Duke with speed that defied normal progression, and even now her authority continued to expand into realms that made other Dukes observe her closely!

“When will we put the Animated Corpse of the Early Creature into play?” Her eyes blazed as she spoke, intensity making the air around her waver. “I have all this power, yet I feel stifled that I cannot even use it properly. With the Animated Corpse, reaching the Loom will be-”

Schrodinger shook his head, the gesture so simple yet carrying enough weight to stop her mid-sentence.

Diviticus frowned, her carefully maintained composure cracking slightly. She held her emotions back…everyone here knew the terrifying power Schrodinger wielded, had seen glimpses of what he could do.

But in her current position, with the power she now commanded, did she truly have no say? She alone controlled that Animated Corpse of an Early Creature. Surely that counted for something?

As if reading her thoughts…and perhaps he was, perhaps thoughts were just another paradox he could observe,Schrodinger turned to look at her directly.

His eyes, ancient despite his beggar’s appearance, contained depths that suggested he had seen this scenario play out before, many times, with many different players.

“Do you feel powerful now?” His question emerged with the gentleness of a teacher addressing a student who had learned just enough to be dangerous.

“Do you believe you can do anything? That with a mere corpse of an Early Creature, even the Loom will be within your grasp?”

HUUM!
