Muspelheim continued to steadily be devoured into the blue-gold monolith.
Ancient flames that had burned since before differentiation were being unmade piece by piece, compressed into that impossible structure Noah had willed into existence. Rivers of molten authority flowed upward against every natural law, drawn toward something that defied conventional understanding as it all flowed to THE Infiniverse!
And yet there was a heavy, suffocating silence that nobody could explain.
All the Muspeli Lifeforms present looked toward Noah!
Noah who at this moment turned in the direction where Galileo and Duke had come from, his expression shifting into something cold and calculating.
THE Living Concept was out there. Assaulting. Killing. Treating Muspeli Lifeforms like obstacles to be swept aside with casual indifference.
But that wasn’t what made his blood blaze the most.
Lumivara and Ul’moreth were somewhere in the Wastes of THE Fallout. He didn’t know where. Couldn’t sense them through the corrupted mess that separated different regions of post-Fallout Existence.
And an Absolute bore down upon them.
THE Weaver.
Not a Half-Step embarrassment like THE Living Spirit. A genuine, categorical Absolute operating at THE Absolute Depth of Existence itself.
Noah’s mind raced.
He had one body here in Muspelheim. Another in The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature. A third moving through THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap to retrieve Eon’s Disciple as part of their tenuous arrangement.
Existence post-Fallout was heavily resistant to clones. The corrupted fabric of reality itself seemed to reject the multiplication of singular existences, as if the laws governing identity had been rewritten specifically to be a pain in the ass.
But Noah continued to defy restrictions.
He should be able to deploy another body to the Wastes of THE Fallout. Should be able to seek the location of Lumivara and Ul’moreth despite barriers that would’ve stopped anyone else cold.
His eyes blazed with Tyranny!
The newly forged Seals threatened to spill out with his immense weight, each one pulsing beneath his skin like caged beasts demanding release. Twenty-seven concentrated expressions of everything he had become, everything he represented, everything he would continue to build.
And what was unique here, what set him apart from any reasonable existence facing such circumstances, was that he knew an Absolute was bearing down on his people...and he was still planning to go there anyway.
Not fearful or hesitant!
Fear was for those who had something to lose and no way to protect it. Noah had everything to lose and the absolute conviction that he’d find a way regardless.
But...
He had to have a plan.
It was great and all not to be fearful. Tyranny demanded nothing less than absolute confidence in the face of impossible odds. But if he simply threw a body into an Absolute’s hands without preparation, without strategy, without understanding what he was actually facing...
How catastrophic would the results be?
And yet Ul’moreth and Lumivara couldn’t be collapsed!
Ul’moreth had given him knowledge of The First Tongue that fundamentally transformed his understanding of Existence itself.
Lumivara, that little fox, also could not die!
They were pillars of his Civilization.
He would not allow them to fall.
So he had to come up with a solution against an Absolute.
Blue-gold plasma began bleeding from his form, swirling around him like the corona of an angry star. His hair lifted. His robes rippled in winds that existed only for him. The 27 Seals pulsed with barely contained tyranny within him as space itself compressed around his figure.
He looked like an angered celestial fiend whose wrath could unmake countless folds.
He felt like one too.
