While this occurred, her voice echoed out with casual command.
"Elemental, how long are you going to stay out there like a scared fucking bum?"
Her eyes didn’t even turn toward him.
"It’s just Chaos here. If you want to hitch a ride on us, you have to get used to this."
Her smile grew sharper.
"Move the fuck in. We have lots to discuss."
...!
Emotive said such words commandingly!
THE Living Elemental floated into the hut with a cloudy expression. His gaze was wary as he looked at Chaos, watching for any sign of hostility.
But THE Primordial Chaos didn’t even spare him a glance.
His attention remained fixed entirely on Emotive, his hand still holding her chin as if he found her far more interesting than any elemental authority could ever be.
THE Living Elemental’s pride stung at being so thoroughly ignored.
He spoke out for the first time since entering.
"The First Tongue that we know is effectively incomplete. New letters have now been added. I can sense-"
"Hush."
HUUM!
The booming voice of THE Primordial Chaos echoed out in the small obsidian hut!
He didn’t even gaze at Elemental.
Didn’t acknowledge his existence.
Simply commanded silence with a single word that carried the weight of absolute authority.
Elemental’s expression became even more cloudy. Humiliation and frustration warred across his features. He was an Absolute in his own right. He had claimed authority over fundamental elements of reality.
And he had just been silenced like an unruly child.
But not a single word escaped from his mouth thereafter.
He knew better than to test THE Primordial Chaos.
With her chin still held by Chaos, Emotive turned over to stare at Elemental with a mocking gaze. Her eyes sparkled with cruel amusement, as if she were laughing at his predicament.
As if his humiliation was the entertainment she had been hoping for.
At this time, Chaos let go of her.
He had ascertained something from his examination. Whatever he had been looking for in her features, in her existence, in the depths of her emotional authority... he had found it.
Or confirmed it.
"Alright."
His voice came measured now, the threat from moments ago replaced by calculating interest.
"What do you want?"
What did Emotive want?
Why would Chaos even entertain her?
These were questions that THE Living Elemental desperately wanted answered. He had followed Emotive here because she had promised something. She had claimed to have plans that would benefit them both.
But watching her interact with THE Primordial Chaos as an equal...
He began to wonder what he had gotten himself into.
Emotive smiled brilliantly at this moment.
Her beauty went on full display, features shifting into configurations that seemed designed to captivate and disarm. Every emotion that could make someone attractive manifested across her face simultaneously.
"Oh, I want many things."
Her voice became almost dreamy.
"I want Osmont."
The name hung in the air with weight.
"I want THE Creature."
Even heavier.
"I want things that even THE Four cannot give."
"But hey, a gal’s gotta start somewhere."
"There’s Osmont, and then there are..."
"The matters of my own complete Axiom."
"And for that...we have to go to THE Creature’s Alfheimr."
WAA!
