And yet, even with the level of power that Tor and THE Living Origin currently held, both had complex expressions.
As if they did not truly want this.
Noah looked at the two of them and shook his head.
He was already receiving an influx of Harvest from the fact that entities who backed his Way of Existence had attained this level of Depth. Their advancement fed into his foundations through the connections they shared.
But with them acting like this...
"Power is power, regardless of where it came from."
His voice came direct and practical.
"A poor man will never question if a mountain of gold fell into his house one day and wallow about it. Why should you two?"
Tor’s gaze was bright as he shook his head.
"Imagine being collapsed by someone, only for that someone later on to say, oh, here you go. A higher level Depth for you."
His voice held notes of bitter irony.
"But alas, you are right. I won’t complain."
...!
The vibrant waves of Hunger from him became even more potent!
His foundation, newly elevated to THE Fundamental Depth, pulsed with appetite that seemed to devour the very air around him. Whatever conflicted feelings he held, they did not diminish the power he had been granted.
Noah looked at the figure of THE Living Origin next.
She stood with serene glory that transcended her previous state. Her form seemed to glow from within, multicolored light playing across features that had been refined by THE Creature’s Embodiment. Her eyes held depths that spoke of authority approaching the threshold of Half-Step Absolute.
"I...have always been chasing after THE Creature."
Her voice came measured and heavy with accumulated history.
"My Everything burned for THE Creature. I first met him in Alfheimr, before he even became an Absolute."
Her eyes grew distant with memory.
"He was brilliant. Every word he said, every action he took... I was enticed completely. I followed him across realms and eons. I gave My Everything I had to support his rise."
Something flickered in her expression.
"But of course, Emotive came along."
Her voice grew harder.
"I truly don’t know what that malevolent creature has to make her jump from one Absolute to another, but..."
She paused.
"I am not satisfied with how I was treated. I do not take this as an answer."
Her eyes blazed with determination.
"So I will seek my own answer. For now, I will return to Alfheimr. There, whether he wants to or not, THE Creature will have to give me an answer."
BOOM!
THE Living Origin said many heavy words!
Her eyes were thinking of none other than THE Creature.
And near her, Noah turned to see the crimson-obsidian gaze of THE First Hunger.
His gaze seemed to only be directed toward... THE Living Origin.
One was looking at someone at an extremely distant place, seeking answers that may have already been given.
While another was looking at someone right in front of them who would not even gaze their way.
The words of THE First Hunger echoed out as he said calmly.
"Alfheimr? I’ll tag along for fun."
His voice came measured and seemingly casual.
"You can navigate there even in THE Fallout?"
"I will always know my way back home."
BOOM!
"I will make this little trip, if that is okay with you."

"Just keep this with you in case of emergencies. If anything happens, let me know."
