I didn’t want my time with Harper to come to an end so abruptly. I wouldn’t have minded had it been some time in the past during our previous sexual encounters, but something in me still wanted her around.
Whatever it was, it made me speak before I could stop myself. I meant it. I wanted her to come with me.
Placing her hand on my wrist while I still had mine at the base of her chin, she chuckled loudly.
“You can’t be serious,” she said.
“We leave in two hours.” My voice was confident.
“Hold on,” she paused, pushing my hand away from her chin and placing it on my side. “There’s no way I’m coming with you. I mean, what will I do over there?”
“The same thing you came to do here. It’s not like I don’t have apartments in Dubai. It’ll be fun.”
She smacked her lips. “The difference is that this is your home.”
In short, she said no and that left me a little disappointed. I wasn’t even able to hide it because she was constantly watching me.
Just to hide it quickly, I licked my bottom lip as I crouched down beside her, running my hand along her leg. “Is that your way of saying you’ll be back here?”
She closed her eyes at the sensation of my touch. “Maybe.”
That was a good enough response for me to know she’d be back. I wanted her to come back.
“So, we haven’t yet talked about my clothes.”
“Took you long enough.” I rose to my feet. “Follow me.”
I made my way to the stairs, then waited for her to go past me so I could watch her from behind. Her robe was thick but I could still make out her curves.
“Where are we going?” she asked without looking back.
“Bedroom.”
“Then why didn’t we use the elevator?”
“So I could miss out on watching the view in front of me?”
She looked back at me with a chuckle of disbelief. “You’re really something else.”
“I know. That’s why you’re here.”

As she was approaching the bedroom door, I went past her and opened it for her, keeping it open as she walked in.
“I have something special for you,” I said as I closed the door. “This time, it’s not my-”
“Cock?” She giggled.
It took me a few seconds to even tell her she was right. It always felt good when she knew what I wanted to say, maybe too good. Was I starting to enjoy that a little too much? I watched her, unable to figure it out.
