Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2358

By his estimation, the presence of a level five paragon like Blake left zero chance for the three of them to lay hands on any treasure.

At that moment, Simeon had been paying much attention on the field and was observing the exchange between Blake and the Burkes. Sensing that something was not quite right, he frowned and remarked, "It doesn't seem like the Menzies were able to secure the treasure either."

Simeon's words instantly lifted Karl's spirits. He subtly extended his consciousness and eavesdropped on the conversation between Blake and the Burkes.

"A level three paragon killed Gerry?!" Karl was astonished by what he overheard. "How is that even possible for anyone to transcend two levels?"

Transcending two levels to kill a level five paragon was incredibly are, even in Karl's previous life. Only the most exceptional individuals could achieve such feats. If such a person lived on, it was entirely possible for them to make a breakthrough to supreme paragon and perhaps even become a celestial.

Amidst his surprise, Karl's interest was piqued, and he wanted to know who was capable of accomplishing that. "I won't have to worry about Severin if I could wield that sort of power!"

Simeon shared the sentiment and could not help but lament, "I never would have expected the presence of individuals in the world who can transcend two levels and kill a level five paragon so effortlessly. Not even Severin will be a match for this person!"

With a pause, Simeon then expressed his excitement as an idea came to mind. "If we can establish good relations with this person, then it would be incredibly easy for us to kill Severin!"

Simeon shared the sentiment. There was a vast difference between killing a person with a counter-attack, and killing a person instantaneously. While they were going back and forth over the identity of person, Blake's face turned gloomy over at the center of the battlefield.

Based on the Burkes' reports, the handsome young man who wielded a sword, was a level three paragon, and whose name started with an S could only point to one person—Severin!

As far as Blake was concerned, he had not heard of anyone else except Severin who could transcend two levels as a level three paragon. With many of the details fitting Severin's description, Blake finally came to the conclusion that the person who instantly killed Gerry and stole the treasure was Severin!

Blake shouted angrily, knowing that there was no longer any doubt to the person's identity. "Severin! It's you again!"
