Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2487

The next morning, Severin stepped out of his room looking refreshed. He glanced back at the four sleeping women on the bed and smiled.

In the courtyard, after taking the hot water and towel handed to him by Emery, Severin spoke up, "Emery, you've been by my side for almost half a year now. Have you made any progress in alchemy, reaching the seventh-grade perhaps?"

Emery, once hailed as the second alchemy prodigy of Sixth Mountain and a former rival of Severin's, had become his servant after losing a duel and joining him on Pearl Light Isle.

Severin had been asking Emery to refine the sixth-grade Emerald Spirit Pill for him for the past six months, which was no easy task.

"Not yet. Seventh-grade alchemy is too difficult for me," Emery replied, shaking her head and sticking out her tongue in embarrassment.

When she initially decided to join Severin on Pearl Light Isle, it was to learn alchemy from him. However, Emery still had not made any breakthroughs, causing her to doubt her talent in alchemy.

Severin frowned at her response. After a moment of contemplation, he took out a small jade plaque from his spatial ring and handed it to Emery.

"This is my alchemy insight, take it. You don't need to come to Pearl Light Isle anymore," Severin said, his tone firm.

Emery looked up with disbelief written all over her face. She seemed to have an idea of what was happening, and the light in her big, watery eyes quickly dimmed.

"Okay," she said softly, taking the small jade plaque from him.

Emery understood that from then on, she and Severin would be living in two different worlds. Ever since Carson arrived at the Grandiuno Sect a few days ago, she had learned from her master Daniella about Severin obtaining Immortal Fate and his upcoming journey to Midland.

Seeing the fleeting sadness in Emery's eyes, Severin smiled faintly and said, "Study hard, contemplate deeply. Inside this small jade plaque, there are not only my insights into becoming a seventh-grade alchemist but also the alchemy wisdom of the sect's ancestors. You're quite talented, and have the potential to become an eighth-grade alchemist in the future."

From initially being skeptical upon arriving at Pearl Light Isle to being full of admiration and adoration, Emery's transformation in attitude had not escaped Severin's notice. That was why he responded the way he did a moment ago.

Seeing Diane's charming expression and rolling eyes, Severin approached her and gently took her hand, saying, "The spots for the Midland trip are limited. Besides you four, the remaining spots are reserved for Myles and the others peak masters. Plus, having you four with me is more than enough for me, so why would I be interested in other women?"

While Emery was indeed beautiful, rivaling Diane and his other wives in appearance, Severin was not one to be swayed by mere looks. He was not the type to be drawn to every woman he saw.

Diane was satisfied with his response. She rested her head on his chest, feeling his strong and warm presence, and softly said, "It's all up to you. I know you'll become a powerful figure in the world of cultivation. Strong individuals in the cultivation world will always be surrounded by beautiful women, so I just hope you don't miss out."

Severin was warmed and touched by her words. He kissed Diane's forehead and said softly, "Having you four is enough for me, my dear."
