Severin nodded and rose into the air, arriving swiftly outside the royal court. They both bowed in the direction of the royal court and immediately vanished into the air in streams of light.
Over on the sacred mountain not too far away, Jaxon watched Severin's departing figure with a sense of joy and murmured to himself, "We've become part of Severin's journey now. I might just have a chance to become an immortal in the future!" With that thought in mind, Jaxon closed his eyes and resumed his seclusion.
Elsewhere, Severin and Carson had already crossed the pass between Midland and Northsea. They encountered no attacks, and the journey proceeded very smoothly. However, as they advanced towards the Grandiuno Sacred Land, the atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive, somber, and dull.
Half an hour later, Severin finally caught sight of the Grandiuno Sacred Land's entrance. It was covered in layers and layers of formations. Adding to that was the disciples patrolling in the shadows, which gave the impression of an impending storm brewing amidst the bustling sect. As he presented his token to open the formations, Severin escorted Carson directly to the First Mountain to give his report.
Inside the First Mountain's main hall, Amethyst—the sect leader—was overjoyed to see Severin return.
As soon as they entered, Severin chuckled and remarked, "Everything went without a hitch!"
Carson detailed the cooperation between Greatflare and the barbarics, and Amethyst listened closely before bursting out in laughter. He clapped his hands and rose from his seat, saying, "Excellent! The families from Eastplain have agreed, and now Westregion's Great Thunderbeat Temple is observing attentively too. I sense great hope! With so many allies in the Grandiuno Sacred Land, I can't help but be curious over whether the Primordial Sacred Land can accomplish anything even if they align with the demons!"
A joy-filled Amethyst soon noticing that Severin's aura had undergone a change. Even though Severin had restrained his supreme paragon aura, Amethyst was still nonetheless surprised by what he sensed. "Have you already made a breakthrough to supreme paragon?" he asked, eyes wide with amazement.
Severin motioned for a chair and sat down before replying with a smile, "Luck was on my side. I seized the opportunity for a breakthrough during my journey to Northsea."
With Severin already possessing a protective divine weapon and two pieces of divine gold, there was every possibility that he might ascend to the level of a level three protective divine weapon. A simply from such a weapon was enough to rival that of a half-immortal!
Emboldened by that prospect, Amethyst felt more confident in facing the trials at the Primordial Sacred Land. Severin's attainment had further surpassed that of a level one supreme paragon, and the sect's possession of a celestial weapon like the Green Emperor Pagoda made it highly likely that he could make a breakthrough to half-immortality before that trial!
Amethyst then suggested, "Now that you've reached the level of a supreme paragon, perhaps we should hold a ceremony honor?"
Severin contemplated for a moment and eventually shook his head. "That won't be necessary. Let's keep it under wraps for now and avoid attracting any undue attention from the Primordial Sacred Land."
