Severin pressed his hand down several times to tell the crowd to stop talking and praising him. Then he glanced around the great hall to look at everyone's face.
Roman, the sect leader of the Purevoid Sect acted slightly restrained as his gaze revealed he was envious of Severin.
The sect leader of the Marvair, Cecily bowed respectfully and did not dare to look around.
The Gahrrs sent an elder as their representative. His name was Colby Gahrr. He looked back at Severin but Severin could tell he was a little anxious and did not know how to react.
Kian, the head of the Steeles, looked down to his feet and did not dare to make eye contact with Severin. All of them knew how inferior a supreme paragon was and none of them dared to do anything as they feared it might insult Severin.
They still remembered clearly how Leyws and Jason tried to kill Severin after the Starry Sky Battlespace ended. However, Carson was there in time to save Severin.
The death of Lewys and Jason caused a big loss to the Steeles and Deifirm. Their overall strength dropped tremendously. Hence, none of them dared to act recklessly or absurdly. They did not want Severin to think they were rude or disrespectful.
After looking around the great hall, Severin saw a few familiar faces among the crowd. Callie was there as well, standing behind Cecily. She was wearing a white dress. Still looking as beautiful as before.
Soran from the Purevoid Sect came too. As always, his vibe was as sharp as a knife. He stood straight and tall while being envious of Severin. It was not too long ago that he and Severin were on the same level. Yet, the situation had totally changed now. He had just become a royal paragon but Severin had surpassed him and became a figure that even his master, Roman, had to respect and fear.
Tobias came with his father too. However, his body looked stiff to reveal how nervous he was.
After that, Severin picked up his tea and took a sip.
Severin did not respond back. Instead, he looked at the Steeles. Although there was conflict between him and the Steeles, Kian had a long head on many matters. He understood this was an opportunity he should not missed out on.
If everything went well, there was a chance that he could become a supreme paragon. He had heard many things about Severin including Severin killing the prodigies of the four great sacred land in Midcity.
It struck Kian that he should be friends with Severin and not become his enemy. He kept on cussing Lewys for all the foolish things Lewys had done in the past.
When he noticed Severin was looking at him, he quickly cleared his thought to speak, "As part of the Southsky, the Steeles will provide full support to you as well to fight off the devil cultivators. Every member of the Steeles is at your service!"
There were four major sects and two families in the Southsky. Other than the Gahrrs, the others were willing to provide their full support.
