Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2774

As soon as Sachin noticed a fissure on the ground that stretched several thousand miles, he immediately deduced that Severin had been involved in Tomos's demise. He rushed forward abruptly, generating a terrifying shockwave beneath his feet. The surrounding space rippled like water following what happened.

Sachin sized Severin up from head to toe before remarking calmly, "Hmmm… A young man who is a level four supreme paragon… I suppose you are Severin."

Though Sachin had never met Severin, news of Mohsin's death in Southsky had ignited turmoil within both the devil tribes. Many supreme and royal paragons had preserved Severin's likeness as well as images of past battles in their image stones, thereby allowing all their disciples to identify Severin immediately.

Severin knew right away that the level nine supreme paragon before him likely harbored ill intentions. He had already expected that one of the devils would come looking for him after Mohsin's death. It was inevitable that there would be retaliation after killing such a formidable opponent in the Darkness Sacred Land.

Severin gazed at Sachin and said, "That I am! And you? Who are you? Reveal your name! It is against my principle to engage with those who don't even have the courtesy of introducing themselves!"

Sachin erupted into a scornful laugh and found it rather hard to believe that a level four supreme paragon would dare to make such bold statements toward him. Tomos's death came as so much of a surprise that Sachin wondered whether Severin was truly responsible. However, once he sensed Severin's spiritual fluctuations, he began to feel that Mohsin's death had been very peculiar—to put it mildly.

Even if Severin could harness strength far beyond his level, it seemed illogical that Severin could transcend so many levels in slaying such formidable opponents. After all, Tomos was a level nine supreme paragon, and a level four supreme saint could not have been capable of that feat. Sachin still had some doubts.

Sachin staggered backward under the force and felt beyond horrified. "How can he possess such formidable strength?" he muttered incredulously.

Though Severin was merely a level four supreme saint, he had completely obliterated Sachin's attack.

Sachin's expression changed drastically, and he made the immediate decision to stop looking down on Severin. He glanced at Severin differently than before, finally recognizing him as a formidable adversary worthy of his respect.
