When Xavier saw how mad Horra was, he knew something bad was going to happen. As expected, Horra insisted on attacking the Grandiuno Sacred Land.
In fact, Xavier agreed that they should not let Severin grow stronger. He had a feeling that he was going to lose the opportunity to become a celestial in the Golden Era.
However, he did not think it was the right time to attack Midland. His injury from the fight at the Eastern Sea had not recovered yet. The chances of winning were slim if he had to face Adrian, who had a level-three protective divine weapon during the attack.
He thought for a while and tried to stall for more time. Hence, he took a big step forward, patted Horra's shoulder, and consoled, "Horra, we shouldn't rush this."
After hearing that, Horra's wrinkled face grimaced. He pointed at Xavier and shouted angrily, "Rush? Two supreme paragons from my sect had died! Are you going to tell me I should wait until all of the members in my sect die?"
Xavier smiled faintly and replied, "I got a reason for that. First of all, we had no idea how Severin killed them. We don't know how many troops the Grandiuno Sacre land had stationed in the Northsea. We knew nothing. What if this is a trap?"
He paused, looked at Horra from the side of his eyes, and stroked his beard. Then he used a low volume but sharp and powerful voice to talk, "Based on the information from your disciple, Severin had just arrived at Northsea. Any attack we launch now will affect the situation as a whole."
Finally, that was able to bring some sanity back to Horra's mind. Despite that, Horra was still unwilling to face it because he could not avenge his disciples immediately.
He clenched his fist tightly until his knuckles turned white. With an angry look, he asked, "Then when is the right time?"
In the meantime, in the royal city of Northsea, Severin was sitting with his legs crossed in a quiet training room. After the brief catch-up with Allen, Heath, and the others, he requested solitude to heal his injuries.
It was not a difficult request, and Allen had already planned on showing his goodwill, so he personally arranged a quiet room with a good environment and rich heaven and earth spiritual energy.
In the room, Severin scanned his body and sighed. "Gosh, my organs are displaced and two meridian veins are broken. Luckily, those injuries are not fatal, and my inner world is not affected."
Once he had identified his injuries, he took out several ninth-grade alchemical pills and popped them into his mouth. The alchemical pill melted into pure medicinal power and flowed through his body to make him warm like he was soaking in the hot springs.
