Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2923

Severin's voice reverberated through the hall, stunning Amethyst and the others. They soon snapped back to their senses and sprang from their seats.

"Severin!"

"Have you completed your seclusion?"

Severin nodded and entered the hall at a leisurely pace. He glanced calmly at Carson and the others and began, "I just so happened to have made a breakthrough and gained some insights into the great path. I can take on this mission to the Eastplain."

Spending over half a year in seclusion within the Green Emperor's Pagoda had left Severin feeling a little restless and uneasy. Meditation was not the be all and end all of attainment—comprehending one's path required a balance between effort and relaxation.

As a half-immortal, his solar spirit and physical body had reached completion, leaving only mana as the final step.

Unfortunately, that was no easy feat.

Severin followed the path of his own creation, the Hidden World Creation Art, which allowed him to form an inner world within his body. It differed from the methods of ordinary practitioners in that seclusion alone could not rush it.

Great fortune, opportune moments, and unwavering perseverance were the ingredients in that recipe for success.

There were still many unexplored corners within the Bleurealm that awaited his discovery. The Ancestora's emergence would lead to countless lost lives and colonized territories. There might not be any Bleurealm for him to explore if he did not seize the opportunity to explore it when it still existed.

Severin shook his head calmly. "But I sense that I might encounter the opportunity for me to become immortal in the Eastplain."

Becoming a half-immortal who had integrated the laws of time and space had allowed him to catch a glimpse not just of the future but of opportunities too.

"An opportunity for immortality, you say?" Amethyst mused. He wanted to dissuade Severin but could not bring himself to do so.

Similarly, Carson and the others did not try to persuade him because it concerned Severin's chance at immortality.

"Very well then," Amethyst finally relented. "Please bring Carson and Willette with you. I cannot join you as it is inconvenient for me to leave the sect unattended."
