Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2963

Standing in the void, King Luther's pallid skin resembled snow while his immortal form radiated an ethereal brilliance. One might liken him to a deity awakening from eras past. His narrowed eyes gleamed with a murderous intent in response to the near-fatal slash he had just encountered.

Employing a secret method, he forcefully harnessed the fleeting power of heaven and earth at the brink of demise, which allowed him to facilitate his regeneration.

Though he had yet to succumb, King Luther—whose soul had been imbued into the projection—could keenly sense the mounting hostility of Bleurealm after he had extracted the power of heaven and earth. There seemed to be a strong force bearing down on his form.

Moreover, his soul had traveled through the relentless passage of time, and the law was therefore etched into his being. The constant flow of time slashed away at the projection's lifespan.

King Luther knew that the lifespan of his projection would last only a moment. If he did not end Severin's life as soon as possible, then the projection would soon disappear under the repulsion of heaven and earth as well as the river of time.

He was a royal celestial who had consolidated his own path and all three incarnations, making him a terrifying existence whose life would last as long as heaven and earth existed. However, it was nonetheless a fool's errand to rely on a clone to fight against the ebb and flow of time.

Aware that the longevity of his projection was hanging by a thread, King Luther's gaze turned covetous as he glanced at Severin. He extended his hand, forming his fingers into a claw to tear the void open. From within, he grabbed the chaotic essence and carved a celestial mark across the heavens, eclipsing sun and sky alike.

Severin stood resolute in the mid-air and his mood became more sombre as he realized the ineffectiveness of the Oculus Blade against King Luther. It was my first encounter with such a formidable adversary.

Since attaining immortality, Severin had traversed a path of unparalleled advancement, vanquishing adversaries with an unwavering resolve. Even prodigies like Simeon and Drake were unable to withstand his might, and he had even been strong enough to defeat a supreme paragon when he was still a royal paragon.

Alas, Severin found himself struggling against a mere projection whose strength was only half a stage stronger than him!
