Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 3000

Esmael wondered about the origins of such a powerful practitioner.

On the mountainside below the Skyblue Sect, Larry, Mick, and the others had been busy engaging in a decisive battle with the enemy. Their surprise at Severin's sudden arrival turned to joy at once.

"Look, the boss is back!"

"He is? He is!"

"Boss..."

The familiar form of address transported Severin back to the time when he had to search for all twelve halls. He nodded to Larry and the others and mouthed softly, "I am."

With a subtle shift of his thoughts, Severin scanned the demon practitioners gathered. Aside from Esmael, every single one of the devil practitioners felt a terrifying power starting to form within their heart. That power soon ignited the flames of karmic retribution within their bodies. In moments, over a dozen of devils who were paragons and royal paragons met a tragic end, reduced to ashes that dispersed into the air.

Severin glanced murderously at Esmael and demanded coldly, "How did you arrive here from the Devil Realm?"

Severin breathed a sigh of relief after hearing the reasons. Above all, he was glad that the devil realm did not have Earth's spatial coordinates, and that the crack appeared only because of the fluctuations. Severin pressed for more information, only to see Esmael writhe in agony. A strange black energy seemed to form in his brain, claiming his life instantly.

Severin glanced coldly at the scene and recognized that his question had probably triggered the Eliza Sect's forbidden power to silence Esmael. As the dark energy dissipated, it coalesced into a middle-aged man cloaked in black, radiating an aura of law that distorted the surroundings.

The man gazed avariciously at Severin.

"A true immortal? How fascinating… to think that a world this small would harbor a true immortal!"
