Ray gave Damien a look, but Damien didn’t say anything.

Damien, meanwhile, shot Clarissa a dissatisfied glare.

The reason was obvious. He was annoyed that she still wouldn’t come back home after so long.

That also meant she had completely given up on their marriage, all because of Joseph

The two of them stood in front of Clarissa and Connie, their backs facing the two women.

Connie immediately thought, ‘This is my chance! I’ll embarrass her in front of President Lawrence now!’

“Clarissa, stop arguing with your husband. It’s not like he did it on purpose.” Connie lowered her volume, but she still made sure that Damien and Ray could hear her speak.

Finally, they reached the ground floor. Ray and Damien were the first to leave.

“Damien, looks like you have an ally on your side! That girl is Clarissa’s cousin, right? With her help, I’m sure Clarissa will come back home soon,” Ray said.

“Oh. Luke gave them to me this morning, but I think I might have left them at my company. Can you come with me there?” Connie asked.

“Sure.” Joseph didn’t think much about it.

So, Connie hailed a taxi and went to New East Corporation with Joseph.
