Chapter 403 Why Are You Acting Like A Fool?

Soon, it had been three years since Clarissa’s sudden departure.

One day, Landon texted Damien, claiming that Florin was an important asset.

“Take a look at this and see if there’s any future in Florin. You know what to do, right?” Damien basically grew up in Florin, so he was more than aware of this fact.

He knew very well how valuable Florin was.

Thus, he had been trying to reach out and collaborate with different companies in Florin. Recently, Damien had been meeting up with Ray and Lucas to discuss which companies to invest in.

“I second that!” Lucas agreed.

“I had the same idea too, but we still need to observe them more,” Damien said. “Data and reports can be faked.”

“You’re right. Florin is expanding really quickly, so we must act fast. When are we going to Florin?” Ray asked.

“Daddy, Daddy! Are we going to Florin? I’ve never been there.” The boy who had been playing with his toys in the corner suddenly spoke up.

Damien patted the little boy’s head affectionately. “Yes, but we’ll go with Uncle Ray some other time.”

“Okay! Uncle Ray, you better not bully my dad!” Neil said, glaring at Ray.

“Me?” Ray had never felt this wronged. “Why, I would never!”

After their discussion was finished, Ray looked around the house.

“Is she not back yet?” Ray asked carefully.

“Who?” Damien immediately glared at him with bloodshot eyes.

The sight terrified Ray.

“Who else do you think I’m saying? You know exactly who.” Despite knowing how furious Damien was, Ray bit the bullet and bravely went on.

“Mrs. Laing? She left after losing Neil once, and I don’t plan on getting her back.” Damien casually picked up a magazine from the table.

“Damien!” Ray stood up, his voice raised. “Why are you acting like a fool?!”
