Love You Like I Used To Forget It (Millie Bridge) novel Chapter 531

Irvin and Timothy looked identical. So, unless Timothy deliberately tried to impersonate Irvin, anyone who knew them would be able to tell them apart at a glance.

Magnus and Agatha had raised Timothy from birth. Now, he had returned home. As he stood before them, he didn't need to say a word for them to recognize he was the real Timothy and not Irvin.

Even the ever-stoic-and-unshakeable Magnus was dumbfounded. He was stuck in a daze for a long while. He truly had never expected his son to be still alive and well.

Once Magnus returned to his senses, naturally, he was happy and overjoyed. After all, Timothy was the apple of his eye, the son he had raised.

Plus, Timothy was outstanding and exceptionally so. And with Irvin gravely injured and possibly stuck in a coma forever, there was no better thing than his true eldest son being alive and well.

It was possible for Magnus to support his secret, illegitimate son as heir. However, it was an extremely arduous path and came with heavy losses.

If he could avoid taking that path, he absolutely would. So, he was especially happy and ecstatic that Timothy had returned. He felt as though god really was looking out for the Hardwells.

But no matter how elated Magnus was, he still couldn't beat Agatha. She was so over the moon that she had lost her mind—literally.

Grace had no idea what to say as she looked at Agatha, who was more mad with joy than someone being rescued after being stranded for years. She couldn't imagine how deeply Agatha must love Timothy for her to be so deliriously happy to see him return.

Timothy and Irvin looked exactly the same. Yet, Grace honestly didn't understand how Agatha's treatment of them could be so drastically different.

Grace was about to become a mother too and was also pregnant with twins. She felt that no matter what, she would never be a mother like Agatha.

Magnus' eyes filled with disgust as he looked at the state she was in. He tried to hide it, but it was impossible. So, he simply waved his hand and ordered the staff to sedate Agatha and take her back to her room.

Once Agatha was taken away, Magnus finally turned to Timothy. He was now in the mood to question Timothy about what had happened and how he was still alive. He also wanted to know why Timothy hadn't come home, or at the very least, notify the family.

Timothy had everyone else clear out of the living room before he turned to Magnus. "It's a bit complicated, Dad. Let's go talk in your study."

To better control the Hardwells, Irvin might have planted pinhole cameras in various places in the manor during Timothy's absence. As he wasn't sure of this, anything he said could sabotage his entire plan.

But he did know there was only one place in this house that no one dared to tamper with, and that was Magnus' study. That was why he had suggested they talk there.
