Love You Like I Used To Forget It (Millie Bridge) novel Chapter 534

Just then, Timothy walked in. When he saw Agatha clinging to the doctor and calling him by his name, disgust flashed through his eyes.

Although that flash disappeared quickly, Grace still caught it. It made her want to laugh even more.

That was just how the world was. Those who couldn't get what they wanted would always make the most noise. Meanwhile, the favored always acted arrogantly because they felt they had nothing to fear.

Sensing Grace's amusement, Timothy gave her a cold, sweeping glance. She immediately stifled her laughter.

Seeing that she knew how to behave, Timothy withdrew his gaze and turned to the doctor. "What's wrong with my mother? Will she get better?" he asked.

He might still have some use for Agatha in the future. So, he wouldn't allow her to remain in this state.

"This is simply a case of emotional overstimulation. Mrs. Hardwell is behaving like this because her brain couldn't handle the intensity of her joy. With time, she might recover," the doctor answered.

The word "might" made Timothy's expression instantly darken. "I don't want a possibility. I want a guarantee!"

The sudden chilly and murderous energy he was radiating caused the doctor to involuntarily shiver. It also made the doctor feel that the Timothy before him wasn't the same as before.

After issuing a threatening ultimatum to the doctor, Timothy shot Grace a look and then walked out. Grace swiftly followed after him.

Once they were in their room, Timothy grabbed Grace's jaw viciously. "Tell me. How could you be so stupid?"

He was convinced she had leaked the secret that he was still alive. And if it weren't for her stupidity, Timothy believed he could've continued having his fun for another year or two—living that free and unfettered life that he still hadn't had enough of.

Timothy truly was a monster.

Grace regretted her words. She really shouldn't have antagonized him.

She shouldn't have tried to make him believe she was an idiot. She shouldn't have tried to get Timothy to drop his guard around her so that she would have a chance to take action against him.

"I don't care what you're scheming, Grace, but you better shut it down now. Don't even dream about the impossible, and just obey me. Do what I say or else… You know just how cruel I can be," he threatened.

Grace stared at him but didn't say a word. She just trembled uncontrollably.
