Without her makeup, Eva looked more youthful rather than dazzling. As her long eyelashes trembled slightly, Caleb couldn't look Eva in the eye. Eva's fair skin revealed a light pink. She opened her red lips in surprise, with tiny beads of water rolling down her small and delicate chin.
Caleb looked down along her neck and saw a pair of great boobs.
Although Eva looked more like a young and pure girl, her perfect body shape was greatly tempting.
Caleb coughed with embarrassment. He looked away and said, "Liam asked me to see whether you're finished."
"The ward is on the fourteenth floor. Without wings, I can't fly down from here." Eva did not buy Caleb's explanation.
Although Eva was a little afraid of Caleb, she thought he wouldn't hurt her before William, so she became a little more courageous.
William was sitting on the bed. When he saw Eva opening the door of the bathroom, he ran down at once, took Eva's hand, and walked towards the hospital bed.
William ignored Caleb.
With a frown, Caleb didn't say anything. After telling William to sleep early and not to cause trouble for Eva, Caleb left the ward and went to the restroom outside to continue working.
It was William's first time sleeping with someone else, so he was too excited to fall asleep. Eva racked her brains and made up a story for him. Only when she finished telling the story did William fall into a deep sleep.
It was also Eva's first time sleeping with a kid. As William curled up in her arms, she was a little flustered, remembering when she had that child in her belly five years ago. Eva didn't know who the child's father was and wanted to die with this child, but, whenever she was scolded by Morgan, that child was her only support.
"I will definitely avenge you, my baby!"
Eva swore secretly.
The light outside was on for a long time before it was turned off. Eva was sleeping soundly. When Caleb stood in front of the hospital bed, looking at Eva and William, a smile touched his lips.
It was a silent night.
Eva slept soundly even until William woke up. William supported his head with his arms and fixed his eyes on Eva's face.
He was very reluctant when carried by Caleb to wash up.
"After washing up, you can wake her up and have breakfast," Caleb explained.
William shook his head.
William nodded at her in response.
Nervous, Eva sat trembling next to William and tried to save herself from the embarrassment by feeding him. Every time Eva saw Caleb, she remembered her terrible look when she woke up. She thought Caleb must have mixed feelings about her. He must've regretted about asking her to marry him.
"Miss Sommers, what's your plan today?" Caleb took the initiative to ask.
Eva looked up at him. "There's nothing in my diary. I should probably go back."
"Liam is going to be discharged from the hospital today, so let's go home." Caleb nodded.
"What did he mean? Go home? Whose home? Can I go home by myself?"
Eva almost went mad, but she kept wearing a smile on her face and did not dare to ask Caleb.
"What's wrong, Baby?" Eva felt that William was pulling her arm, so she instantly looked down at him.
William pointed to the spoon in front of his nose. Only then did Eva realize that she nearly stuck the spoon into his nose, so she hurriedly apologized, "I'm so sorry."
