Third Pot
Caroline never expected Gerald’s attitude toward her to become like this.
“Toure yelling at me?” Caroline was both angry and aggrieved, “I got plastic surgery because I didn’t want to embarrass you wh… didn’t want others to compare me with their family… did I do wrong?
Gerald frowned, seeing Caroline like this made him feel guilty again.
He shouldn’t have spoken to Caroline in that tone.
“Sorry, my bad.” Gerald coaxed Caroline apologetically, “I was just angry at Hazel.”
Caroline wiped her tears and stopped talking.
But inside, she hated Hazel to death, wishing she would die right now.
Hazel’s POV:
I returned to the dressing room, casually grabbed some fruit to eat, and had just sat down when my phone started vibrating.
Looking at it, it was Rowan calling.
The moment I put the phone to my ear, his explosive fury hit me: “And who is that number one vote manipulator?!”
I immediately held the phone away–if he weren’t on the other end, I could practically feel his spit flying at my face.
After his tirade finally ended, I put the phone back to my ear: “What number one?”
His tone was irritated: “Forget it, you probably don’t know either. Probably some rich person with too much money to burn.”
Then he switched to a serious tone, “I’m telling you again, you can do whatever, just don’t destroy my company.”
I raised an eyebrow, my tone flat: “Don’t worry.”
Even if the company really collapsed, I wouldn’t starve.
But Rowan obviously wouldn’t let the company collapse. He kept nagging while giving instructions, as if afraid I might actually blow things up someday.
Only after finishing his entire safety manual did he reluctantly hang up.
Chill heard the whole process, especially Rowan’s continuous shouting, and couldn’t help teasing me while tidying up: “Miss Hazel, will Mr. Rowan… after the show ends…”
She even made a.“slice” gesture across her neck, her expression vivid.
I glanced at her: “He doesn’t have the guts.”

Rowan would go crazy for a few minutes at met
I was the one who funded the company–o matter how crazy he got, he couldn’t fire me.
Don’t panic, it’s not a big problem “I picked up the coffee she bought me and slowly took a sip.
Chill sudderly put her hands together and looked at me with worship.
I looked at her puzzled: “What’s wrong?”
Her round face was hushed, her eyes bright: “Miss Hazel, you’re simply my idol! To be able to shut down those–Silver Moon Pack siblings like that on stage–I watched their faces stay abnormal the entire timer
I curved my tips but didn’t respond.
Her emotions were running high, speaking faster: “I heard those siblings especially love bullying people. I had a friend who was Caroline’s classmate before, just had a small conflict, but ended up being forced to transfer schools by them.”
She frowned. “Ever since then I’ve been especially disgusted by those siblings. But online everything praises them. Caroline’s popularity is ridiculously high, even when there’s dirt it gets completely whitewashed… Sigh, they have money and power. ordinary people can’t fight them.”
I listened quietly, glancing at her.
On the surface she smiled harmlessly, eyes bright, her young face looking innocent.
But I noticed that just now, a flash of unmistakable hatred had crossed her eyes.
“That friend of yours, you two must have had a pretty good relationship?” I casually asked.
Chill lowered her head, continuing to organize my desk: “Pretty good, we grew up together.”
