Lin’s mother stammered, unable to speak.

Lin’s mother tried to stop him again, crying, “We worked so hard to raise you, and now you’re going back to farm? Do you want to drive us crazy?”

Lin’s mother was speechless. 
She wailed, sat down on the ground, and cried about her hardships while slapping her thigh.
