Married First, Loved Later : A Flash Marriage with My Ex's 'Uncle' novel Chapter 364

Chapter 364: One Slap After Another

"Big sister Angelica, so this is how far you were willing to go just to frame me?"

Selina clapped slowly, her tone calm but laced with sarcasm. "You pulled me aside at the top of the stairs, threw yourself down, and popped a blood bag to fake a miscarriage... If it weren’t for Young Master Foster finding that blood bag today, this stain on my name would’ve followed me for life."

Angelica screamed through tears, "I really did miscarry! The blood on the floor is clearly—"

Selina tilted her head with a mocking smile. "Then you shouldn’t be afraid of a little medical check-up, right? Unless... you are."

Just then, a voice came from the door. "Young Master, Dr. Butler from the Medical Alliance, Dr. Lewis from DY Hospital, Dr. Perez from DL Hospital, and Professor Ford from City A University’s School of Medicine have arrived."

The room froze. So many elite doctors...? People were baffled.

Aiden gave a faint smile. "Let them in."

Four highly respected figures in the medical field walked into the Reid residence. Aiden said casually, "Earlier, we thought Miss Morris had miscarried. I was concerned for her health, so I invited these doctors. But now it seems... that might not be necessary."

Selina’s eyes lit up. "Who said it’s unnecessary? Didn’t Angelica just say Young Master Foster’s medical skills aren’t good enough to tell whether she was pregnant? Perfect chance to get a second opinion, right?"

The doctors exchanged looks. Professor Ford stepped forward first.

"She has a healthy complexion, clear voice, steady breath—absolutely no signs of pregnancy or miscarriage. Was Miss Morris pregnant in her dreams?"

Dr. Lewis added, "Her pulse is strong and even. Not only is there no sign of miscarriage, she doesn’t even seem to have a cold."

Dr. Butler nodded. "There are no physical signs she’s ever been pregnant. As for her previous claim of being pregnant, that must’ve been a ’misdiagnosis.’ But if both the Reid and Morris families consulted multiple doctors and still got it wrong... it starts to look suspicious."

That was just shy of directly accusing the two families of covering up a fake pregnancy to push Angelica into place.

If only Selina had claimed Angelica was faking, people might still doubt her.

But now?

With Foster Family’s heir, the top OB-GYNs from three major hospitals, and a leading medical professor all confirming it—Angelica was never pregnant.

She’d lied. For weeks. To everyone.

Angelica sobbed, her mind spinning. That bitch Selina!

Why did she have to expose this?!

And Aiden—why was he even involved? If it weren’t for him, Selina would be finished right now! Why?

What now—what the hell could she do?

"Angelica..."

Joe finally broke the silence. He stumbled a step back, staring at his daughter in disbelief. "Victoria wasn’t like this..."

He turned to Angelica with a voice full of confusion and betrayal.

"Tell me the truth. Why was Mrs. Reid covering for you? Why...?"

Angelica burst into sobs and dropped to her knees. "Don’t blame Aunt Amelia! It’s all my fault—I loved Logan too much. She only wanted to help me..."

She knew there was no hiding it now. The truth was out.

That damned Selina!

But right now, she had to save herself.

"I saved Logan’s life years ago. I’ve loved him ever since. We had a marriage agreement... but he married my sister instead. Why, Dad? What did I do wrong? I just... I just loved someone..."

Luke raised a hand to his chest dramatically, his voice full of theatrical pity. "Selina, you want an apology? Oh, sweetie, be glad the Morris Family isn’t demanding compensation for Angelica’s emotional trauma. An apology? That’s rich. Even if it was Angelica’s fault, so what? She’s the Morris Family’spreciousdaughter~ after all!"

Selina: "..."

"That’s enough!" Joe snapped. "Young Master Luke, this is between Selina and the Morris Family. We don’t need your sarcasm!" freewebnσvel.cѳm

He could hear the mockery plain as day, and it stung. Taking a deep breath, Joe turned to Logan.

"Mr. Reid, are you really going to let Selina cause a scene like this? Our two families are now closely tied—Angelica saved your life. Are you willing to throw away that bond, that lifesaving grace, all for a woman like her?"

Selina’s expression turned cold.

There it was again—"lifesaving grace." So because Angelica once saved Logan, she could do anything she wanted? Even frame someone? Even ruin lives?

Logan’s voice cut through the tension like ice. "And how exactly does Chairman Morris see Selina?"

Was this man seriously fit to be the biological father of Selina?

Joe choked on his words. "At the very least, Selina should stop being so aggressive. That kind of personality won’t do her any good. Angelica has admitted her mistake. Let’s drop it here. But please, Miss Clark, don’t keep pushing this!"

Selina let out a disbelieving laugh. "So now I’m the one pushing things too far? Angelica framed me, and I defended myself—and that makes me the bad guy? So I was supposed to just lie down and take it?"

Logan’s voice was firm. "Absolutely not. The Morris Family must make amends."

Joe exploded, shouting, "Selina is just a junior! She’s not even worthy to be compared to Angelica—"

"Selina!"

"Selina, are you okay?!"

Luke and Aiden’s voices rang out at the same time. Logan quickly stepped forward, just in time to catch Selina as she fainted in his arms.
