Chapter 116: Chapter 116 The Bathroom

Victoria

For several moments, we lay tangled together, breathless and sated. Leo’s weight was a comforting anchor as our heartbeats gradually slowed.

"I love you," he murmured against my hair, his voice tender in a way few ever heard.

I smiled, turning my face to press a kiss to his shoulder. "I love you too."

He rolled to his side, bringing me with him so we remained connected. His fingers traced idle patterns on my back as we basked in the afterglow.

"I believe I promised to make love to you in every room," he said after a while, a mischievous glint returning to his eyes.

I laughed, feeling deliciously languid. "I think I need a moment to recover."

Leo’s smile turned wicked. "Perhaps a bath would help." His gaze flicked toward a door I hadn’t noticed. "The master bathroom has a view almost as stunning as the bedroom."

Curiosity piqued, I sat up. "Show me."

He swept me into his arms once more, carrying me naked through the doorway into what could only be described as a spa sanctuary. Marble floors gave way to a sunken tub large enough for four people, positioned before another wall of windows overlooking the sea. Gold fixtures gleamed in the late afternoon light, and an array of luxurious oils and bath products lined a nearby shelf.

"This is incredible," I breathed as Leo set me on my feet.

He moved to the tub, turning on the taps. "Wait until you feel the jets. This isn’t just any bath—it’s a hydrotherapy system."

I watched, mesmerized, as steam began to rise from the rapidly filling tub. Leo selected a bottle from the shelf, adding something that filled the air with the scent of jasmine and vanilla.

"Get in," he urged when the tub was half full. "I’ll join you in a moment."

I stepped carefully into the warm water, sighing with pleasure as I sank down. The tub was even more comfortable than it looked, with contoured seating and perfectly positioned jets.

Leo disappeared briefly, returning with two glasses of champagne. He set them on the edge of the tub before stepping in to join me, his magnificent body glistening with water as he settled opposite me.

"To new beginnings," he said, handing me a glass.

I clinked mine against his. "To us."

We sipped in comfortable silence, watching the sun begin its descent toward the horizon. The warm water soothed muscles I hadn’t even realized were tense from travel.

"Turn around," Leo said suddenly, setting his glass aside.

I raised an eyebrow but complied, placing my glass next to his and turning so my back was to him. His strong hands found my shoulders, kneading the lingering tension with skilled fingers.

"Mmm," I sighed, letting my head fall forward as he worked his way down my spine. "That feels amazing."

"Just wait," he murmured, his voice a seductive promise that made my body stir despite our recent activities.
