Mia
When Jasper arrived at the office, the morning bustle came to an abrupt halt. Every employee’s gaze was drawn to one particular corner where Mia knelt,a shocking contrast to her usual regal presence.
She looked utterly broken. After a night forced to maintain the same kneeling position, her designer dress was crumpled and stained, her perfectly styled hair now a tangled mess. The physical discomfort was nothing compared to the public humiliation she endured. The wolf inside her, once so proud, now whimpered in shame and fury.
Just yesterday, she’d strutted through these halls like the Luna she believed herself to be. Now she was on display, her fall from grace a spectacle for all to witness. The rage building within her was something primal and dangerous.
"Freya Stone, you manipulative little bitch!" she suddenly shrieked, her voice cracking with hatred. "This is all your fault! My mate would never do this to me if you hadn’t poisoned him against me!"
Her eyes, rimmed red and wild, darted around the office as if expecting to find Freya hiding somewhere.
"Why don’t you just disappear from our territory completely? The pack would be better without you! You seduced an Alpha, you pathetic Gamma nobody!"
Her howls echoed through the modern office space, bouncing off glass walls and hardwood floors. Where once her outbursts might have inspired fear and compliance, now they only invited contempt. The power dynamic had shifted overnight.
Several pack members who had worked alongside Freya for years stepped forward, their protective instincts awakened.
"How dare you speak about Gamma Stone like that?" a senior accountant challenged, her wolf spirit evident in her stance. "She sacrificed everything for this pack for eight years without a single complaint. You arrived and immediately started undermining her authority."
"Exactly!" added Timothy’s assistant. "Freya managed this entire pack’s operations flawlessly. She’s never once abused her position. You’ve been trying to destroy her from the moment you scented her on Alpha Kane."
"You’re the one who forced her to serve drinks at her own birthday celebration," another employee pointed out. "Now you’re playing the victim? Please."
The whispers spread like wildfire through the pack hierarchy. People were eyeing Mia as though she’d gone feral. She wanted to lash out,to assert the dominance she believed was her birthright, but pinned down by the security wolves, all she could do was kneel there, rage building in her chest.
"You’re all just jealous bitches!" she snarled, her wolf barely contained beneath her skin. "What did Freya do to buy your loyalty? Did she let you all scent-mark her too?"
She was ranting like a wolf driven mad by silver poisoning, spewing venom that made even the most hardened pack members cringe in discomfort.
Just then,Jasper arrived, catching the tail end of her tirade. His expression transformed from cold detachment to something glacial and lethal—the true face of an Alpha confronting a threat to his pack.
He’d intended her night of public submission to humble her. Instead, she was challenging the entire pack structure, threatening his authority.
He strode forward, radiating dominance. The crowd parted instinctively, responding to the power rolling off him in waves. The security wolves immediately released their hold, recognizing their Alpha’s arrival.
