As the Medusa Warship departed the Deep Sea Zone, a massive octopus that had been lurking timidly on the ocean floor suddenly froze.
The presence that had filled it with dread seemed to have left.
Now, sensing the dense swarm of ships above the water's surface, the giant octopus erupted with fury.
I couldn't take on that monster, but you puny things? You dare strut above me like this?
Raging, the octopus launched itself upward toward the sea surface with terrifying speed.
Above the Deep Sea Zone, Ryder was busy scheming, greed gleaming in his eyes as he envisioned life after claiming the Medusa Warship.
"Once we seize that state-of-the-art warship from the Medusa Gang, we'll form our own fleet. With that kind of power, we can carve out a real presence in the West Montiria Islands!"
He laid out the grand plan to his crew with gusto.
"Captain, once we do that, let's take over an island for ourselves!"
"Yeah! And let's name it after you!"
"What do you think of Ryder Island?"
"Our captain, ruler of his own island—an island lord sitting high above the rest!"
The flattery made Ryder beam with pride.
"Haha! When I become the island lord, I'll name you all as commanders of the Island Watch!"
"Thank you, my lord!"
His crew had already begun calling him "Island Lord" with no hint of irony. Ryder could barely contain his grin.
But just outside the Deep Sea Zone, the Medusa Warship came to a sudden stop.
Seeing this, Ryan looked puzzled. Matthew, watching intently, whispered, "Get ready for the show. Three... two... one."
Boom!
His gaze shifted toward the Medusa Warship, still calmly anchored just beyond the Deep Sea Zone.
Why hadn't the octopus reacted when they passed through?
Of course—it had still been asleep. Those two must have done something to wake it up. It had to be their doing.
As Ryder frantically pieced things together, a massive tentacle emerged from beneath the waves, slithering silently toward a nearby smaller ship.
Suddenly, he realized why the octopus hadn't attacked yet.
Boom!
A deafening crash echoed through the sea as a ship barely 300 feet away from Ryder was obliterated in an instant. A titanic tentacle rose from the depths and slammed down again.
Blood painted the surface red.
The massacre had begun.

The readers' comments on the novel: Medical Genius Unspeakable Marriage (Matthew Larson)
The story started out really good, but after 400+ chapters, I got exhausted because of the in-laws. There’s just too much pointless chatter and greed. The protagonist is supposed to be strong but turns soft whenever the in-laws are involved—even the wife, yikes. Do they always have to give in to every demand and treat? Too weak. I didn’t get angry, just tired… so I stopped reading 😜...
