Matthew could not bring himself to go on, and the four stewards could not bear to hear more.
"The Medusa Gang are b*stards through and through, treating a child like that—they deserve to be wiped out!" Ryan cursed through clenched teeth, but his eyes softened as he turned to Ariya. "Ariya, I'm sorry. It's my fault for not finding you sooner and leaving you in such a terrifying place for so long."
"We were incompetent, Miss Ariya. Please punish us as you see fit," the other stewards said with guilt.
Ariya, however, didn't understand why everyone was apologizing to her. "It was because I went chasing butterflies that the bad men caught me. It was my fault," she said sensibly, in a way that made everyone's heart ache.
"No one here is at fault. The blame lies with the Medusa Gang," Matthew said, comforting the sorrowful group.
"Daddy's right—it was the bad guys' fault!" Ariya cried, throwing herself into Matthew's arms once again.
At that, Ryan and the other stewards bowed deeply to Matthew in unison.
"Matteo, if not for you, I can't imagine what would have become of Ariya. Thank you for taking care of her all this time," Ryan said, his voice choked with emotion.
"There's no need for thanks. The days I spent with Ariya were the warmest moments I've had on this cold, desolate island. If anything, I should be thanking her." Matthew reached out and gently touched the tiny crown on Ariya's head. "The only reason I kept her true identity hidden before was because—"
"You don't need to explain. We understand. You were protecting her, and you did it well!" Ryan interrupted before he could finish.
No explanation was needed. Ryan had seen with his own eyes how Matthew had cared for Ariya over the past few days. It was clear he treated her as if she were his own.
"Now that the young lady has returned, that alone is worth celebrating. And with the Serania family driven back, we've had two victories in one. Let's continue the celebration!" Ryan said, regaining his spirit.
Just then, a guard rushed into the hall, his face filled with panic.
His body was covered in nearly a hundred wounds. Though none had struck a vital organ, his insides were torn and battered, and the most dangerous problem was the sheer amount of blood he had already lost, leaving him unconscious and in shock.
The doctors tried to prepare for a transfusion, but they couldn't even find a patch of intact skin to insert a line.
At that, Ryan exploded with fury. "What's the point of keeping you useless fools around? At the critical moment, not one of you is any help!"
The doctors had never encountered such a dire case before, and the fear of making a reckless attempt that could worsen Ronny's condition—or land them in disgrace—paralyzed them.
Still, every second wasted meant Ronny's chances of survival slipped further away.
Suddenly, Ryan slapped his thigh. "I know who can save Mr. Donald!"

The readers' comments on the novel: Medical Genius Unspeakable Marriage (Matthew Larson)
The story started out really good, but after 400+ chapters, I got exhausted because of the in-laws. There’s just too much pointless chatter and greed. The protagonist is supposed to be strong but turns soft whenever the in-laws are involved—even the wife, yikes. Do they always have to give in to every demand and treat? Too weak. I didn’t get angry, just tired… so I stopped reading 😜...
