"Mr. Larden, you're my savior. No words I can say are enough to convey how thankful I am. However, I can promise you this. I will always be there to support you whenever you need my help. Just say the word and I'm there," Ronny solemnly vowed.
Everyone else also approached Matthew to thank him for saving Ronny. However, most of them were still reeling from Matthew's astonishing medical skills.
Ronny's private doctors felt as though someone had pulled the rug right under their feet, finding it difficult to accept the reality that Ronny was indeed cured.
They had a feeling that if they could somehow learn even a fraction of Matthew's skills from the man himself or even get their hands on his pill-refining techniques, their status in Blackshore Island's medical field would skyrocket.
Ryan went to pick Matthew up a few days later. They were going to the private hospital for Ronny's follow-up treatment.
Ariya had long noticed that not only had Matthew been coming and going for days, but he also hadn't taken her with him. So, she grabbed his arm and refused to let go. "Daddy, where are you going? Can't I come with? It's so boring here!" she said with a pout.
Ryan and Matthew exchanged a smile upon hearing her sulky request.
Now that Ronny was almost fully recovered, it was time for Ariya to reunite with her father.
"Ariya, we're going to meet someone special today, okay?" Ryan scooped Ariya up, acting all mysterious.
"Who? Daddy, do you know what he's talking about?"
Matthew merely grinned and said, "I just know you'll be thrilled when you see him."
They exchanged joyful banter as they all clambered into the car and headed to the private hospital.
Once they stopped outside of Ronny's ward, Matthew encouraged Ariya to go in by herself.
Ariya gently pushed the door open and soon saw a familiar face lying on the bed. It was the very face she'd been missing for months!
"Father!" Ariya squealed, jumping in joy. As a result, she completely missed the fact that Ronny had been resting.
Thus, her scream of joy promptly roused Ronny from his slumber.
However, he didn't mind the interruption. Instead, he was overjoyed as he immediately pushed himself off the bed and wrapped her in a tight embrace the second he laid eyes on her.
"Ariya, where have you been? I've been so worried about you!" he cried out.
Ronny, who was a tough cookie through and through, had tears streaming down his cheeks as he hugged her.
"Father, I promise I'll stop running off to chase butterflies," Ariya said, her voice muffled against his chest.
"None of that now. You weren't in the wrong. It's my fault for failing to protect you," Ronny replied.
"Matteo, thank you for caring for Ariya."
Ronny tried to get up to thank Matthew. Alas, Matthew would have none of it as he gently pushed him back onto the bed.
"Please stop. I've heard enough words of gratitude to last a lifetime. Anymore and I might just forget what it means!" Matthew teased.
Then, he gave Ronny a mini Rejuvenating Pill. As soon as Ronny swallowed it, he couldn't help but feel his insides churning slightly as his organs regrew stronger than ever!
His wounds were gone. He didn't even have a scar on his skin to prove that he'd nearly died in an ambush. In fact, it was as if he'd never been hurt in the first place!
"This mini Rejuvenating Pill is very effective when it comes to injuries. Now, I can confidently say that you're as healthy as the average guy," Matthew said.
"This is amazing! I had no idea you're a skilled medicine maker, Mr. Larden!"
Everyone felt the worry that had been plaguing them disappear like morning mist now that Ronny was fully recovered.
"Who did this to you?" Matthew finally asked.
He was genuinely curious. After all, there was no denying that Ronny was powerful. So, he couldn't help but wonder just what organization could've managed to injure him so severely.

The readers' comments on the novel: Medical Genius Unspeakable Marriage (Matthew Larson)
The story started out really good, but after 400+ chapters, I got exhausted because of the in-laws. There’s just too much pointless chatter and greed. The protagonist is supposed to be strong but turns soft whenever the in-laws are involved—even the wife, yikes. Do they always have to give in to every demand and treat? Too weak. I didn’t get angry, just tired… so I stopped reading 😜...
