Matthew continued, "Your men brought them to your base, and Luna's father was sent to the medical bay. At the time, Luna had fallen asleep under the bed right next to her father's. That would have been fine, except she woke up to something horrific.

"She saw a man wearing a demon mask. Before she could do anything, he had lifted the dagger high in the air and promptly stabbed her father right in the chest."

"How could Luna be so foolish?" Ronny cried out in agitation. "That was so dangerous!"

Matthew looked him in the eye and said, "Luna saw it all with her own two eyes. She was convinced you'd ordered her father's murder. She was certain that you were the mastermind behind her family's tragedy. Now that she'd seen your true colors, she knew that if she didn't go to the ground, she'd be next.

"She wanted to take her sister with her. Alas, her sister was too young, and she wasn't confident that she could ensure both their safety if they fled the place together. Eventually, she decided to make a run for it on her own. After all, she figured that her sister would be safe as long as she didn't know the truth."

"Where is Luna now? Is she... okay?" Ronny asked anxiously.
