That proved Selkis knew Ronny would be vulnerable—so whoever attacked Ronny was very likely linked to them.

Steelwall passed the information to Ronny, who immediately moved to sweep the Seranias' stronghold.

Matthew insisted on coming along, for he felt something darker lay behind the attack.

Upon arrival at the Seranias' turf, the place was deserted.

Anything valuable, such as their clothes and gear, had already been taken.

"The recipe was never shared outside the sect, which means the elder is part of the Medusa Gang."

Ronny was furious.

He'd been separated from Ariya because of them.

If Matteo hadn't rescued Ariya in time, she would have been drained for this very potion.

Impatient, Matthew finally asked, "So what's wrong with me?"

The owner sighed dramatically.
