Neither Mason nor Jensen had a bag on them. What could they possibly be carrying?
Mason didn't think much of it, but Jensen found the whole affair ridiculous and couldn't help bringing it up. He pulled a ring box straight out of his pocket. "Look, it's this."
Yasmin was speechless. That was clearly a ring box. Did Sebastian ask Jensen for a ring? That was… weird.
The awkward silence made Jensen realize something was off, so he quickly explained, "Don't get the wrong idea. It's not what you think. But there's indeed a ring in here. Have you heard of the Hayes family's True Love's Heart?"
Yasmin's eyes widened in disbelief. "Don't tell me it's actually True Love's Heart?"
Jensen slowly opened the box, revealing a dazzling diamond ring that was eye-catching and clearly expensive.
"How did you end up with this?"
Mason couldn't help but smile, and Jensen chuckled teasingly.
"Unexpected, right? The Hayes family's True Love's Heart was stolen and ended up being sold overseas. I just happened to see it in a shop and bought it. I sent a photo to Sebastian, and he flew over immediately to pick it up."
Yasmin was at a loss for words.
She couldn't believe that the Hayes family's True Love's Heart was stolen and sold overseas. She felt like there was way more to this story.
She stared at True Love's Heart with curiosity. "Can I take a look? Just one glance. I promise I won't damage it."
"Go ahead." Jensen didn't mind. It was just a diamond ring, after all.
And diamonds were the hardest substance on earth, so how could it get damaged?
She carefully lifted True Love's Heart from the box and examined it closely. The ring was indeed beautiful and luxurious. She spotted tiny engraved letters on the inner side.
