Mending a Broken Love (Roxanne and Sebastian) novel Chapter 170

Jensen finally understood why Sebastian had completely ignored Roxanne in the past. With a competitor like Liana, who had no boundaries, no shame, and loved to meddle, Roxanne was indeed unlucky.

When Roxanne tried to crash into the pillar—though it had been unnecessary—it turned out to be a good tactic. It was a counter-attack!

Anyway, Jensen was on Roxanne's side for this.

Mason watched Roxanne leave with a cold gaze.

Sebastian grabbed Roxanne's hand and pulled her into the Rolls-Royce parked on the side of the road. His expression was dark and stormy. His grip on her wrist was firm, and his eyes were filled with red anger.

Roxanne struggled a couple of times but couldn't free herself. She felt his grip tighten further. Frowning, she let out a pained cry. "It hurts!"

He finally loosened his grip slightly but still held on tightly.

She said helplessly, "You're making me uncomfortable. Please let go of me."

Sebastian's gaze darkened as it settled on her. His voice was rough. "Why did you push me to Liana after I chose you today?"

She was speechless and rolled her eyes. "You said you chose me today?"

She was genuinely amused by his self-righteous tone.

He stared at her seriously. "I chose you."

Roxanne was speechless and gave him a big eye roll. "Sebastian, do you even know what choosing means? Why did you choose me? Because I was going to crash into a pillar? Before I did that, you were still holding Liana! How dare you say you chose me?"

Sebastian's pupils flickered in confusion. "So, you didn't want to die?"

She frowned. "Am I crazy? Do I look like I want to die? Let me make it clear. If I ever use extreme methods, it's just to deal with others—not because I want to die. Especially when it comes to Liana—don't pick me. I'll always be faking it while she's the real deal."

At least when it came to fake suicide tactics, Roxanne would leave herself an out. She wouldn't really die. But Liana was a madwoman, and who knew what she was capable of?

If Sebastian hadn't stopped her today, there was a very real chance Liana could have ended up with her brain splattered on the ground. She was really willing to risk it all, which impressed Roxanne.

Roxanne noticed the car wasn't heading toward the villa. "Where are we going?"

Sebastian squeezed her hand tighter, his sharp brows relaxing slightly.

"We're going to the city hall. We're getting married."
