"Yeah, I'm back. I'm at Prestige Hotel. I'll prepare the food. Let's have a drink together," Roxanne said.

"I'll be right there," Elvira replied.

It was just what she needed—a drink and some time with her best friend to blow off some steam.

Roxanne ended the call and quickly ordered food and wine. Since she was staying at a five-star hotel, the service was exceptional. The food, along with a bottle of 1982 Lafite, arrived not long after she placed the order.

Roxanne quickly ran over to open it. Upon seeing Elvira, she immediately gave her a big hug to vent out all the hurt she had been feeling for the past few days.

Elvira was excited to see Roxanne and exclaimed, "Rox, I missed you so much!"

The two of them sat down in the room. They mixed Lafite with Coke and ice, sipping it with great satisfaction.

After she had too much to drink, Elvira's cheeks flushed with a rosy glow, making her look even more beautiful in a dreamy kind of way. She fidgeted on the floor. "Rox, I…"

Seeing her hesitate to speak, Roxanne immediately became angry. "Elle, you don't treat me like your best friend anymore! You've been hiding something from me!"

Elvira quickly tried to explain, saying, "It's not that I've been hiding something from you. It's just that I didn't know how to tell you."

Elvira's face turned crimson with embarrassment. "I-I got drunk and slept with Peter."
