Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 428

Josefina had already compromised, and Oliver wasn't about to push his luck any further. He dutifully followed her to his bedroom.

As they stepped inside, Josefina was taken aback by the decor. Her photograph was on the wall, though she couldn't remember when it had been taken.

Not just that, there were more pictures of her on the nightstand beneath a chandelier, which was adorned with jade pendants.

Oliver had taken so many pictures of her, and the sight left Josefina momentarily speechless.

Seeing her reaction, Oliver was a bit taken aback himself.

"Josie, I'm going to take a shower. Make yourself comfortable. There's food in the cabinet, drinks in the fridge—help yourself to anything you want."

Leaving Josefina behind, Oliver headed to the shower. She wandered over to the snack cabinet he mentioned.

Opening it, she found it packed with an array of snacks.

The fridge was also stocked with a variety of beverages, including tea, milk, and coffee.

Josefina was curious; since when did Oliver, who wasn't a snack fan, keep such a collection in his master bedroom?

While she pondered this, Mrs. Zhang entered, carrying a bowl of hangover soup, and paused at the doorway.

"Ms. Josefina."

Mrs. Zhang didn't come any further, as if hesitant to enter.

Josefina approached her, and Mrs. Zhang handed over the hangover soup.

"Ms. Josefina, the hangover soup is ready. Could you please make sure Mr. Oliver drinks it to sober up?"

Josefina placed the soup on the table and, after a moment's thought, asked, "Mrs. Zhang, why are there so many snacks and drinks in Oliver’s room?"

Mrs. Zhang replied cheerfully, "Well, of course, it's all for you, Ms. Josefina."

Josefina looked puzzled, unsure how it could be for her.

Her pale, nimble fingers weaved through his damp locks, a sensation he found deeply pleasurable.

Once his hair was dry, Oliver regretted not letting it grow longer, just so Josefina could continue a little while longer.

"Oliver, you should get some sleep. I need to get back to my grandma's," Josefina urged.

Oliver lay down, his eyes locked on Josefina, filled with a sense of possessiveness.

"Josie, since you've got things to do, you should head back."

Josefina looked at him, reached out, and playfully pinched his cheek.

"Oliver, it's getting late. You should rest. I noticed you have quite a stash in your snack cabinet. Mind if I take some home?"

Oliver's face lit up with joy. "Of course, Josie. Take anything you want. And if you want me, you can take me home too."

Josefina was left speechless.
