**TITLE: Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 190**
Jayceon’s eyes were resolute, a fierce determination etched across his features. “I can transfer all of my assets into your name,” he declared, his voice steady and unwavering. “If you still feel uncertain about our future, I can draft a will. The rights to my entire estate—everything I possess now and all I will earn in the days to come—will be yours and our future children’s alone. Georgina and her son will have no claim whatsoever.”
Arabella’s thoughts whirled chaotically, a tempest of doubt and anxiety. Even if Jayceon went through the motions of writing a will, it would hold little value for her. The reality was stark: if he decided to change his mind, he had countless methods at his disposal to ensure she would never see a dime. And as for the so-called ‘evidence’ that implicated her in leaking his company’s confidential files, she couldn’t shake the nagging fear that Jayceon had kept a copy hidden away.
Yet, for the moment, she felt a flicker of hope. Perhaps dismantling the prenuptial agreement she had reluctantly signed wouldn’t pose a significant challenge.
Taking a deep breath, Arabella hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest. “Jayceon,” she finally said, her voice steady despite the uncertainty swirling within her, “if you can refrain from forcing and threatening me as you have in the past, I’m willing to trust you one more time.”
Jayceon’s gaze bore into Arabella’s, searching her face for any sign of insincerity. “Are you sure?” he asked, his tone laced with both hope and skepticism.
Arabella nodded earnestly, her expression serious. “As long as you’re committed to supporting my career and treating me with the respect I deserve, I believe we can give each other another chance.”
A look of astonishment washed over Jayceon’s face, the tension in his body beginning to dissipate. Without thinking, he pulled Arabella into his embrace, holding her tightly against him. His voice came out muffled as he murmured, “Arabella, remember what you promised me.”
Feeling a rush of emotions, Arabella gently pushed him away, creating a small distance between them.
Jayceon stood up, his expression shifting to one of determination. He led Arabella to his desk, where he personally fed the stack of documents into the shredder, watching as their past commitments were reduced to confetti.
Then, with a swift motion, he retrieved a metal flash drive from his drawer and handed it to Arabella. “Everything you need is on here. There are no other backups,” he assured her, his tone serious.
Jayceon turned on his computer, connecting the flash drive himself, inviting Arabella to review the contents.
Arabella hesitated, her heart racing as she considered the implications. “Are you absolutely sure you’re not deceiving me?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, filled with uncertainty.
Jayceon met her gaze, his eyes unwavering. “I told you, if you’re still not convinced, I can transfer my assets to you,” he reiterated, his sincerity palpable.
As Arabella’s uncertainty flickered in her eyes, Jayceon’s expression shifted to one of gravity. “You’ve defied me every single day since your return. How many clauses in that prenuptial agreement have you actually adhered to? Have I ever done anything to harm you?”
After a moment’s hesitation, Arabella took a deep breath and checked the contents of the USB drive. With a decisive motion, she pulled it out and clutched it tightly in her hand, a symbol of her decision.
Jayceon closed his laptop, turning to wrap his arm around Arabella’s waist, looking down at her with an intensity that made her heart race. “Mrs. Melendez, can we go rest now?” he asked, the desire in his eyes unmistakable.
