**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 198**

Arabella’s attention was riveted solely on Georgina, her heart racing with a mix of anticipation and anxiety.

As she watched Georgina struggle repeatedly, a knot of worry began to form in Arabella’s stomach. The clock was ticking, and if this game dragged on any longer, her opportunity to take down Jayceon would slip away into the night, lost among the laughter and chatter of the party.

Finally, the moment arrived for Georgina to roll the dice again. The room fell into a hush, all eyes trained on her as she cast the dice across the table. The numbers danced before settling on an eight. Arabella felt a flicker of disappointment; if only Georgina had rolled a seven, then she could have slipped Jayceon the medicine mouth-to-mouth, a chance to intervene in the chaos brewing around them.

As Georgina reached out to touch Jayceon’s hand, the crowd erupted into playful teasing, and Arabella couldn’t help but grimace at the sight. There was something about that gesture that made her skin crawl. Georgina, oblivious to Arabella’s disdain, reveled in the moment, her heart racing with excitement as Jayceon didn’t pull away, seemingly unbothered by the public display.

Jayceon, however, was acutely aware of Arabella’s gaze. He caught her watching him and Georgina with an intensity that eclipsed even Samuel, who was merely munching on popcorn, blissfully unaware of the tension simmering just beneath the surface. A shadow crossed Jayceon’s face, darkening his features with irritation.

“Aren’t you going to take your filthy hand off?” he snapped, his voice low and edged with annoyance.

The tension snapped when Kimberly, unable to contain herself any longer, stood up and forcefully slapped Georgina’s hand away. The sound echoed in the room, drawing even more attention to the unfolding drama.

Georgina shot Jayceon a look of indignation, her voice laced with faux innocence. “Kim, it’s just a little game. Don’t overthink it,” she protested, though her eyes betrayed a flicker of vulnerability.

Kimberly’s glare could have burned a hole through steel as she muttered a harsh ‘slut’ under her breath before plopping back down in her seat, arms crossed defiantly.

Jayceon turned his head sharply to Kimberly, a warning etched in his features. Kimberly, her anger palpable, defiantly turned away, refusing to meet his gaze.

Next up was Jayceon’s turn to roll the dice. He cast a fleeting glance at Arabella, his expression unreadable, before shaking the dice cup with a calm determination. When the verdict came in that he’d rolled a nine, a spark of excitement ignited in Arabella. She crouched down, inching closer, her heart racing with renewed hope.

“Hurry up and pour the drink!” she urged Georgina, her voice tinged with urgency. The earlier anxiety that had gripped her was now replaced with a fervent desire to seize this fleeting opportunity.

As Georgina fumbled nervously with the drink, Arabella took the initiative, spearing a piece of fruit and offering it to Jayceon, hoping to distract him from the chaos around them.
