**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 331**

On that fateful day, after Arabella had successfully hypnotized Georgina, it was meant to be Jayceon’s moment to coax the truth from her lips. However, despite his persistent efforts and several attempts to break through her defenses, it quickly became evident that Georgina’s subconscious was firmly entrenched in denial. She remained obstinately silent, her mind shrouded in a veil of resistance.

Faced with this impasse, Arabella stepped in to take charge of the interrogation. With a mix of determination and urgency, she finally managed to pry some words out of Georgina, who suddenly seemed on the verge of losing control. Just as Georgina lunged forward, two imposing bodyguards swiftly intervened, halting her advance with a firm grip.

In a surprising twist, Georgina spun around and hurled herself protectively in front of Jayceon, her eyes wide with panic. “Jay!” she exclaimed, her voice rising in desperation. “It has to be your ex-wife! She’s the one who despises me! This recording is a fabrication, a trap to drive a wedge between us. You can’t possibly believe her!”

Gloria, Georgina’s mother, quickly interjected, her voice laced with maternal concern. “Mr. Melendez, my daughter is a good soul. She wouldn’t harm even the smallest of creatures. How could she be capable of murder? There must be some misunderstanding here.” Her tone was pleading, as though she could will the truth to emerge from the chaos.

Georgina’s brother and sister-in-law nodded emphatically, their faces reflecting a mix of disbelief and support, standing united in defense of their family member.

“Your ex-wife must have faked the recording!” Georgina reiterated, her voice rising in pitch, desperation evident in her tone. “I never uttered those words to her! If you doubt me, I can swear on my life!”

Jayceon’s expression remained impassive, almost cold. “You don’t need to swear, Georgina. I recorded it myself,” he replied flatly, the weight of his words hanging heavily in the air.

“Boom!” The realization hit Georgina like a tidal wave, her mind momentarily blanking out as the implications of his statement crashed over her.

In that charged atmosphere, Georgina’s family instinctively lowered their heads, the guilt palpable as they sought refuge behind her. The crowd, once a distant audience, now turned their collective gaze upon Georgina, their expressions morphing into accusatory stares.

“I thought she was just a scandalous mistress, but I never imagined she could actually take a life,” one voice from the crowd sneered.

“Look at her face, so spiteful and cruel. A truly vicious woman,” another chimed in.

“And she has the audacity to aspire to marry into a High Society Family? Pfft,” someone else scoffed.

“Olivia, is this the next Mrs. Melendez you mentioned?” came a mocking voice from the back.

Arabella, Tabitha, and the others stood behind the throng, observing the unfolding spectacle with a mixture of intrigue and disdain.

Kimberly’s brow furrowed with worry as she turned to her mother. “Mom, are you alright?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, concern etched across her features.

Tabitha sighed heavily, her heart weighed down by the turmoil surrounding them. “Don’t fret, dear. Even in my anger, it’s directed solely at your father for his infidelity. Mark was just a child; he bears no blame,” she replied, her tone softening as she glanced at her daughter.
