**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 351**
A sense of unease settled heavily on Arabella as she contemplated her next move. The thought of heading to Vance Manor tomorrow loomed in her mind like a storm cloud, darkening her mood. She felt compelled to confront the situation herself, even though a part of her wished she could simply avoid it altogether.
Nearby, Samuel nudged Jayceon with a mischievous elbow, breaking the tension that hung in the air. “You’ve been glued to her all night, man. Arabella wouldn’t notice if you set off fireworks beside her. And yet, you’re still staring? What’s the deal?”
Jayceon, his gaze unwavering, pulled his attention away from Arabella, though his expression remained stoic.
Samuel continued, a teasing smirk playing on his lips. “Look at Franklin and that troll flanking her. One on her left, one on her right, like her personal bodyguards. Even if you muster the courage to approach, you’d just be a nuisance.”
Jayceon shot Samuel a warning glance, a flicker of irritation crossing his features. “Keep talking like that, and we might not be friends for much longer.”
Samuel raised an eyebrow, unperturbed. “It’s precisely because I see you as a brother that I keep bringing it up. You need to hear this.”
With a serious tone, Samuel added, “Franklin might have a kid, but in every other sense, he’s your equal. And that troll? He’s got the looks and the family name. Arabella could choose either of them with her eyes closed, and they’d still be a better pick than you.”
Each word struck Jayceon like a physical blow, igniting a simmering frustration within him. He felt a wave of uncertainty wash over him.
Stealing a glance at Arabella, who was just a short distance away, he turned to the two companions beside him and muttered, “I need to take a call.”
Emmett, observing from a distance, noticed Jayceon making his way upstairs alone. Without hesitation, he handed Edmundo over to Arabella, who was surrounded by a few others, and discreetly pulled Blaire aside to a more secluded area.
Emmett gestured toward Jayceon ascending the staircase, lowering his voice conspiratorially. “Keep an eye on him for me, would you?”
Tonight, he felt an urgent need to unleash the pent-up frustration that had been festering inside him for too long.
Blaire halted Emmett, concern etched on his face. “You do realize I’ve faced him before, right? You couldn’t take him down even if you trained for three more years.”
Emmett, undeterred, wrapped an arm around Blaire’s shoulders. “How about you lend me a hand, Troll? Just imagine the two of us teaming up against him!”
Blaire paused, contemplating the proposition. After a moment, he nodded resolutely. “This time, we have to avenge our last defeat and give him a proper beating!”
The two friends shared a determined glance, their minds set, and quietly trailed after Jayceon as he continued up to the second floor.
Meanwhile, Arabella, accompanied by Edmundo and a few others, was preparing for Lily’s coming-of-age celebration.
As Edmundo grew restless and expressed a desire to find his uncle to play, Arabella suddenly realized that Emmett and Blaire were nowhere to be found.
She began to inquire among the guests, and a server informed her that he had just seen the two boys heading upstairs.
