**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 362**

The air was thick with tension, a palpable storm brewing as Sir’s fury radiated like heat from a raging fire. Yet, despite his anger, the Melendez bodyguards remained frozen, their loyalty to their employer keeping them rooted in place, for Conrad was firmly ensnared in Blaire’s grip.

Conrad, muscles taut with rage, let out a guttural roar that echoed through the room. The sound was primal, a testament to his fury and helplessness.

“You think you can just walk away from this? If you don’t stop right now, don’t come crying to me when I set my sights on the Rockwell family!” Sir’s voice dripped with menace, each word a threat that hung ominously in the air.

Blaire shot him a glance, her eyes narrowing with disdain. “You old fossil, you’re nothing but a relic, still stirring up trouble like you did in your prime. If you’ve got the guts, then come at me yourself!” Her tone was sharp, laced with a defiance that seemed to challenge the very foundation of Sir’s authority.

In that moment, Sir made a swift decision, dialing Sir Rockwell. The tension escalated, and Arabella, sensing the impending chaos, rushed forward, her voice a desperate plea. “Blaire, please, let him go! This is my battle; don’t drag yourself into it!”

The Melendez men had a reputation for holding grudges, and Conrad was no exception. Today, Blaire had unwittingly made an enemy of the Melendez family, a dangerous game that could have dire consequences.

Blaire, consumed by anger, dismissed Arabella’s words, her mind racing with thoughts of revenge. “I have to teach this old geezer a lesson!”

With a swift motion, she freed one hand and delivered a sharp smack to the back of Conrad’s head, the sound echoing like a gunshot in the tense atmosphere.

Conrad’s temper flared, nearly overwhelming him with rage. His face contorted in fury, he struggled to contain his emotions, feeling as though he might burst at any moment.

After hanging up, Sir’s voice boomed, filled with an authority that demanded compliance. “Tie up those two bastards! I don’t care if they live or die!”

Arabella’s face drained of color, shock washing over her as she realized the gravity of the situation.

Just as the Melendez family’s bodyguards surged forward, ready to unleash chaos, Samuel and Kimberly arrived, bringing with them a glimmer of hope. Jayceon, pale and battered, was supported between them, his presence a stark reminder of the stakes at play.

Samuel quickly released Jayceon, urging Blaire to let Conrad go. Kimberly, witnessing her father’s predicament, felt a knot of anxiety tighten in her chest, but she held her ground, unwilling to show weakness.

Jayceon, despite his injuries—two stab wounds that had drained him of strength—was determined. His face was a ghostly shade of white, and he struggled to maintain his footing, the pain from his wounds a constant reminder of his vulnerability. Yet, with sheer willpower, he pushed through the agony, making his way toward Arabella.

“Grandpa, Dad, what are you doing at the Palmer’s?” he asked, his voice strained but steady.

Arabella wasted no time, her tone urgent. “Your grandfather and your father are trying to force my entire family out of Zelmere. They blame me for staying here, claiming I’m interfering with Mr. Melendez’s life and delaying his engagement!”

Jayceon’s expression darkened, the weight of the situation settling heavily on his shoulders.
