**Chapter 93**

As Jayceon stepped forward, determination etched across his face, he attempted to reach out and stop Arabella from walking away. But she was quick, sidestepping him with a deftness that surprised even herself.

Arabella turned to face Jayceon, her expression a mix of sorrow and resolve. “We’ve shared so many years as childhood sweethearts. I truly hope we can part on amicable terms. But let me be clear: if you continue to try and control my life, I will ensure that I take you down with me, and your precious Georgina will not escape unscathed either!”

The moment Arabella had hurled her wedding ring away, Jayceon felt the weight of her decision settle heavily in the air. It was a declaration of war, and he understood it all too well.

His mouth opened to protest, but no words emerged; he felt as if the very breath had been knocked from him.

Arabella’s gaze flickered to Jayceon, then shifted to the elderly figure beside him. “Grandpa, Mr. Melendez, you are both wise men. I possess undeniable proof of Jayceon’s infidelity. Should I decide to pursue legal action, the scandal of his betrayal will be laid bare for all to see. You both know the stakes involved here better than I do. I demand a definitive answer by next Monday, or I will see you in court.”

With that, Arabella turned on her heel and strode away with a sense of finality that echoed in the stillness of the garden.

Jayceon, still reeling from her words, hurried after her along the winding path of the Melendez estate.

Before she could fully comprehend his intent, he swept her off her feet and tossed her over his shoulder with a surprising strength. He instructed the driver to take them away, his heart racing with a mix of desperation and anger.

“Jayceon, where are you taking me?” Arabella shouted, thrashing against his hold.

His eyes, clouded with a mix of emotions, glimmered with a fiery intensity. “Somewhere you can calm down,” he replied, his voice low and steady, as if trying to soothe the storm brewing between them.

Later that night, they arrived at The Azure Bay Estates, Jayceon’s new residence, which he had only recently begun to call home.

He carried Arabella with an unwavering grip, bypassing any chance for her to escape, and marched straight into the bedroom.

By the time Arabella realized his intentions, it was too late; he had her pinned against the bed, his hand firmly holding her wrists above her head, rendering her helpless.

Arabella glared up at him, her face flushed with a mix of humiliation and fury. “Jayceon, let me up this instant!”

With one hand securing her wrists, Jayceon’s other hand rested possessively on her slender waist. There was an undeniable tension in the air, charged and electric. Perhaps it was the alcohol coursing through his system, or perhaps it was something deeper, but his eyes were bloodshot, reflecting a tumult of emotions.

He gazed down at her, their eyes locking in a battle of wills. The darkness in his eyes began to flicker with a heat that was all too familiar, and he felt an instinctive pull towards her.
