Chapter 1449 -1449: Meeting Mr. Eternal_1
Originally, Ethan Smith did not have a good impression of Mr. Eternal. After hearing Salena Carpenter’s words, Ethan became even more certain of his thoughts.
“Leave it to you, just tell him I’m not here,” Salena muttered.
Having said that, she immediately concealed her presence and hid.
Ethan had no choice but to meet Mr. Eternal.
A few minutes later.
Mr. Eternal walked up from the foot of the mountain.
He looked nothing like the image Ethan had in mind; Mr. Eternal was expected to be tall and imposing like Ken Middleton, but instead he appeared very thin and frail, with his face even somewhat withered.
He was not ordinarily thin but rather looked like he had been hollowed out.
“I’ve seen Mr. Eternal,” Ethan bowed and said. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Mr. Eternal looked at Ethan and asked, “Who are you?”
“My name is Ethan Smith, Salena isn’t here, so I’ll be receiving you,” Ethan responded.
Upon hearing this, Mr. Eternal exclaimed in surprise, “You’re that Ethan Smith? Randall Freeman’s disciple?”
Ethan smiled and said, “Yes, Mr. Eternal, please come in.”
Under the guidance of the two attendants, Ethan and Mr. Eternal arrived at a teahouse.
The place was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the melodious chirping of birds, with swaying bamboo and a murmuring stream that made a pleasant sound.
Ethan and Mr. Eternal sat down, and the two attendants immediately served tea for them.
“Mr. Eternal, since Salena isn’t here, why don’t you wait for her?” Ethan casually chatted.
Mr. Eternal waved his hand and said, “It’s alright. The first reason I came here is to congratulate her. The second reason is I wanted to meet you.”
“To meet me?” Ethan looked quite amazed.
Mr. Eternal laughed heartily, “A genius like you has emerged from the Southern Province, of course, I need to meet you.”
Ethan glanced at Mr. Eternal, suddenly feeling that he was not as simple as he seemed.
“Mr. Eternal, if you have something to discuss, please go ahead,” Ethan said.
Mr. Eternal took a sip of tea and sighed, “It’s been a long time since the Southern Province has produced a talent like you. It seems our younger generation cannot carry the banner.”
These words greatly shocked Ethan!
The younger generation of the Southern Province was full of talents, how could they not be able to carry the banner?
So, with doubts in his mind, Ethan asked, “Mr. Eternal, your words seem somewhat biased. Although I don’t know much about the Southern Province, there are indeed many geniuses I know of.”
“Oh? Do tell,” Mr. Eternal said with a faint smile.
